False Doctrines

“I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.” Psalms 119:163

"...Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you ... in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." —2nd Peter 3:15-16

The Bible teaches that believers ought to “LABOUR in the Word and doctrine” (1st Timothy 5:17), meaning that we ought to STUDY the Bible. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2nd Timothy 2:15). In John 5:39 Jesus commanded for each of us to “SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES.” In the absence of Light, darkness prevails. The Bible can be summed up in just one word: TRUTH (John 17:17). Jesus is the TRUTH (John 14:6). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of TRUTH (John 15:26).

There are numerous FALSE doctrines exposed on this web page. SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES for yourself and confirm everything, and the Holy Spirit of God promises to “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).

Ecumenicalism and New Evangelicalism

Ecumenism is intended to build bridges that are, in reality, impossible to construct between people of widely divergent beliefs in an effort to bring them together on some illusionary “common ground.” As Christians, our mandate and message is extremely limited—it is not to “unite” all faiths by finding commonalities; but rather, to proclaim the Law of God against sin that "all the world may become guilty before God" (Romans 3:19). And then show sinners man's only hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ (Who died, was buried and rose again three days later). Jesus ascended into Heaven (Romans 8:34) and applied His blood to the mercy seat (Hebrews 9:12) in the presence of the Father (Hebrews 9:24) and is now seated at the right-hand of the Father (Colossians 3:1). The Ecumenical Movement's ultimate goal is World Religion, as part of a World Government (aka, the Beast System of the coming Antichrist. We must expose ecumenism in all it's forms.

False Repentance

NOTE: I intentionally created a separate section for FALSE REPENTANCE versus LORDSHIP SALVATION, because although often related, these heresies are sometimes taught separately. For example: I heard a Baptist pastor denounce Lordship Salvation, but then he errantly taught False Repentance, which is just as deadly to the Gospel. To be clear, there is no requirement to “TURN FROM SIN” to be saved! God saves a man solely BY FAITH, and then the Holy Spirit changes him, which is a secondary matter of sanctification and discipleship.

What Is Heresy?

We've all heard the saying: “Everyone has an opinion...” Interestingly, the word “heresy” in the Bible comes from the Greek word hairesis. Here is what VINE'S COMPLETE EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT WORDS (Page 303) states concerning the word "hairesis" ...

...“a choosing, choice”; (from haireomai, "to choose") then, "that which is chosen," and hence, "an opinion," especially a self-willed opinion, which is substituted for submission to the power of truth, and leads to division and the formation of sects...

The word “heresy” in the Bible simply means, “an opinion.” Many of the doctrines circulating in today's churches are merely opinions, not based upon the Word of God. In John 5:39 Jesus commanded His disciples to... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! It is dangerous to form one's opinions apart from the Bible. People who express teachings not taught in the Scriptures are guilty of spreading heresy. There are sincere people in every church, who attempt to help others by offering unsought advice. Unfortunately, much of this advice is heresy, even damnable heresy.

Proverb 12:17, “He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.”

What Is Biblical Repentance?

Biblical repentance unto life is “a change of mind” (Greek: metanoeo); not a change of lifestyle. Salvation is without works of self-righteousness. Romans 4:5 plainly teaches that a man's faith is COUNTED for righteousness, i.e., the righteousness of Jesus Christ which is imputed to a sinner by faith.

"Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership — the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word."

SOURCE: Except Ye Repent, by Dr. Harry Ironside, chapter 3

Repentance and faith are inseparable. The Gospel of John mentions the word “believe” 85-times; but the word “repent” is never mentioned even once. In genuine salvation, one who believes on Jesus Christ has repented; and one who repents has believed on the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Repent! Repent! Repent!

False prophets who “privily” bring heresies into the Church

Satan is subtle. 2nd Peter 2:1, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who PRIVILY shall bring in damnable heresies..." The word “privily” here means “taking pains to avoid being observed; to lead aside.” This is the nature of false prophets. They are used by Satan to mislead people, going through pains to avoid being detected. They are all ecumenical. They all pervert the Gospel message, requiring sinners to stop living in their sins to be saved. But that's not what God says. Lordship Salvation is a backdoor approach to Works Salvation. Instead of requiring people to do good works to be saved as the Catholic Church does, Lordship Salvationists require people to stop living in sin to be saved. The result is the same—self righteousness.

A liberal (also leftist) is someone who rejects logical and Biblical standards, often for self-centered reasons. There are no coherent liberal standards; often a liberal is merely someone who craves attention, and who uses many words to say nothing. Liberalism began as a movement for individual liberties, but today is increasingly statist and, as in Europe, socialistic. Liberalism has changed over the years and degenerated into corruption.

Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

My sin is my own, but my righteousness is Jesus Christ's!
