The Bible not only condemns homosexuality as being a morally reprehensible,
disgusting, barbaric, sinful, form of mental-illness; but God also gives us
a vivid description of the type of character these people possess.
Romans 1:28-32 describes what homosexuals are like in general:
Romans 1:28-32, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
I didn't say all those things, God did. Remember that before you hate me. I love all people, including mentally-ill people who think homosexuality is normal, God forbid. It is homosexuals who are saturated with hatred for God, which is exactly what the Bible says about them in Romans 1:30.
Romans 1:25 teaches that homosexuals attempt to change the Words of God into a lie to justify their wickedness. This is why there were at least 2 known homosexuals on the translating committee of the New International Version (NIV). It should be called the H.I.V. Bible, because it is more deadly than the A.I.D.S. virus, spiritually destroying its victims. I don't want a homosexual Bible. I guarantee you that the new NIV2011 Bible coming out will have homosexuals on it's translating committee as well.
Because homosexuality is a LIFESTYLE type sin, it inherently brings along with it every other form of sin. Thus, not to be unkind; but nevertheless truthful, homosexuals are some of the most evil and wicked people. Historical records evidence that nearly all mass-murdering dictators were involved in the occult, homosexuality and child abuse.
This is not to say that every homosexual is a pedophile, rapist or murderer; but it does mean that homosexuals are more tolerant of sin as a rule. This includes all the sins mentioned in Romans 1:28-32. To condemn another group of sinners who violate God's Law (for sin is the violation of God's Law), homosexuals would be condemning themselves. In other words, since homosexuals don't want Bible-thumpers calling them sinners, they're going to defend all other groups of sinners as well. But the truth is that God calls them sinners. Marsha Stevens and her lesbian wife produced an album titled, “He Called Us Good.” They are mocking God's Law, saying that God calls homosexuals “good.”
No, God called you heathens and homosexuality an abominable (disgusting) sin (Leviticus 20:13). We are all guilty, hell-deserving sinners, myself included (Romans 3:19). But as a Christian I am not supposed to go along to get along. I am commanded to fight the good fight of faith (1st Timothy 6:12). I am told by God to refute (Greek, elencho, “to expose”) all works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). I am suppose to speak THE TRUTH in love (Ephesians 4:15).
Moses killed an Egyptian whom he saw beating one of his Israelite brethren. It was a crime of passion. It wasn't Moses' lifestyle to go around murdering people.
Likewise, king David saw Bathsheba bathing from his rooftop and committed adultery with her. This was out of the ordinary for David; he later repented, and never did it again.
In sharp contrast, homosexuality is most often a habitual sin, a lifestyle; and rarely just a one-time sin of passion. Homosexuals have openly adopted, accepted and purposed in their heart to commit homosexuality as a permanent lifestyle, even desiring marriage licenses from the State government. Feminism, witchcraft, abortion, divorce, homosexuality, et cetera; are all evil sins that society tries to justify, disregarding God's Law, and making their own corrupt laws (Romans 1:25). But God is still on His throne and will not be mocked. The wicked will be judged by God in eternity (Isaiah 13:11).
The Bible has nothing good to say about the homosexual lifestyle...
Romans 1:20-22, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
If you are a homosexual, God does not hate you; he hates sin. God loves you and sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world to pay for your sins, so that you and I could be redeemed and forgiven forever (John 20:31; Acts 10:43; Romans 4:5-6).
