Gay Tolerance?

I have received an increasing amount of e-mail lately from people who are upset over my position on homosexuality. Actually it is God's position, not mine. I am simply proclaiming what the Bible teaches. Homosexuality is a sin according to the Word of God.
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." —Leviticus 18:22
You'll have to get upset with God because He wrote the Bible.
An "abomination" is something which God hates. God hates homosexuality, but not homosexuals. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to die for homosexuals (and for all us other sinners too). God wants all people saved (2nd Peter 3:9). Unfortunately, very few people ever find salvation (Matthew 7:14). It's easy to be saved. John 3:20 tells us why most people won't be saved.
I received one particular e-mail from a woman who asked if I was promoting intolerance towards the homosexuals themselves? My answer to that is no. I do NOT believe we should be unkind to homosexual people (or to anyone for that matter).
However, homosexuality is so destructive upon society that God commanded Israel to execute homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13). There are many lies about homosexuality which society has been led to believe. Homosexuals target children. There was NO tolerance in the Old Testament days.
Sadly, American society today increasingly promotes and praises homosexuals. America has become a giant Sodom and Gomorrah. As America declines morally, the government is increasingly taking away our rights. Sin is not without its cost. America is already beginning to pay the consequences in many ways for it's continued wickedness. Homosexuality, just as murderous abortion, should NOT be tolerated. We are doomed for destruction!

It is NOT easy for separated Christians (who are trying to live for God) to live amongst the heathen. Christians are IN the world, but not OF the world. I believe that we should be kind to OTHERS, never cruel. There is a big difference between hating sin, and hating the sinner committing the sin. God does NOT hate anyone. God DOES hate sin. As a born-again believer, I am commanded by God to hate sin. I am also commanded to love the sinner. I do NOT hate anyone. I do hate the sin of homosexuality. If you are a homosexual, I do not hate you in any way, but I do pray for you and boldly tell you that you are on the road to destruction.
I have no tolerance for homosexuality because God does not want me to tolerate sin.
I DO have tolerance for homosexual people because they are God's creation. They are people whom God created and loved enough to die on the cross for. I am nice to all people. If you told me you are a homosexual, I would NOT condemn or criticize you in any way. Your life is not my business. However, this website is a pulpit where I speak the truth (like it or not). I do not judge anyone for I am a sinner myself. It is my duty as a child of God to take a firm stand against sin. So do I hate homosexuals? Not one bit! I love them enough to take the time out to try to reach them with the gospel. However, I will not dip my sails or compromise what is right for anyone. Homosexuality is a sin, plain and simple; It is NOT an "alternate lifestyle," it is wicked sin.
Of course, the conceded and unrepentant sinner is going to accuse us Christians of hating them. Nothing could be further from the truth! If you know a professed "Christian" who is hateful towards a homosexual, then you can chalk it up that they're not being very Christian. A Christlike Christian will preach against the sin of homosexuality in a spirit of love, coupled with the loving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians must not be guilty of hating Homosexuals. Likewise, Christians must not be guilty of failing to take a stand against homosexuality in their community.
Yes, we should be tolerant with sinners, but not sin. Every pulpit in America should have a man of God behind it crying aloud against homosexuality, abortion, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, women wearing pants, dancing, witchcraft, public schools, rock music, Hollywood movies, and every other form of wickedness. Yet, we must do it in a spirit of love and concern for others.
Homosexuals need serious help, they need the saving power of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ... just as we all do. I thank God that he saved my wretched sinful soul many years ago. Pacific Garden Mission, Downtown Chicago
My father was was a Skid Row minister for over 50-years. I often tagged along by his side to the various missions he preached at. I remember one afternoon while my father and I were walking into the front door of the Pacific Garden Mission that I saw an 18-wheeler beer truck. The beer truck was parked right in front of the mission and said on the side in giant letters, “Pure brewed from God's country.” Right next door to the mission was a tavern literally named, “The 666 Lounge,” which was the actual address of the bar on south State street. Talk about strange. The 666 lounge was eerie enough. Of course, the beer was going to the lounge and not the mission. Evangelist Billy Sunday hated booze because of what is does to families, then and still today. I also hate alcohol and so should you. Read “The Hellishness of Beer” article which I have written.
Read “Gambling is a Sin.” Also visit “Hellivision and Movies.” Billy Sunday (1862-1935) was a true man of God and cared enough about people to speak the truth. As a matter of fact, it was Billy Sunday's bold preaching that almost single-handedly brought bring about the prohibition years from 1919 to 1933. Oh to God that America had ten thousand Billy Sunday's today preaching against abortion, homosexuality and every other form of evil!!! Thank God for the Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) and godly men like Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980).

The Tyranny of Judges
Thomas Jefferson’s worst nightmare seems to have come to pass. Jefferson was very concerned that judges would become despots and overrule the rights of the people. In 1820, he wrote to a friend,
“You seem to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions, a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy. Our judges are as honest as other men, and not more so.”
Jefferson realized that the Constitution protects the will of the people, not the opinions of judges. But instead of protecting the people’s vote on Proposition 8, Judge Walker used his judicial office to promote the agenda of a small minority who want to change the definition of marriage.
The definition of marriage, instituted by God and practiced by every culture since the creation of man, is under attack in America today. There is no discrimination against homosexuals in America with regard to marriage, no unequal treatment. Homosexuals are equally as free to marry as any other American. Their problem is that the definition of marriage itself requires every person to marry someone of the opposite sex. The fact that homosexuals don’t want to enter into marriage as it has always been defined doesn’t give them the right to use the courts to change that definition to suit their wishes. Changing the definition of marriage, as Judge Walker has done, undermines the most important building block of any society.
Judge Walker described the “ability to marry” as a fundamental right that cannot be denied to gays and lesbians. But this conclusion is complete and utter nonsense. Every society in history has placed restrictions on the “ability to marry.” You can’t marry your sister. You can’t legally be married to two or three people at the same time. You can’t marry someone who is already married. And you can’t marry someone of the same sex. Marriage by definition involves two people of opposite sexes who are—theoretically, at least—biologically capable of reproducing and forming families.
