     America has forgotten God! Never before has America been in more dyer need of Billy Sunday style preachers who cry aloud and spare not against the wickedness of our day. If Billy Sunday were alive today, he would be preaching against abortion, homosexuality, witchcraft, government corruption, Hollyweird, MTV, dead churches, and of course—gambling, dancing and booze. 

1st John 5:19b says, “the whole world lieth in wickedness.” The Bible sure hits the nail right on the head concerning the wickedness of mankind. The world is controlled by Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Sadly, many believers are woefully ignorant of this fact. Most churches in the United States are apostate!

I receive e-mails from professed Christians on a regular basis accusing me of being hateful and failing to demonstrate God's love to people. Nothing could be further from the truth. I speak the truth because I care very much about people. I am not trying to make anyone mad, but the truth makes quite a few people angry. The early Christians in the Book of Acts preached THE TRUTH, which caused the public to either REPENT or RIOT.

The Apostle Paul was also hated for speaking the truth . . .

"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" —Galatians 4:16

It is sad that America has deteriorated into apostasy (i.e., turning away from God). Most Christians erroneously measure the degree of apostasy in America by the measuring stick of church attendance. This is not the case friend. America's degree of apostasy can be directly measured by the amount of TOLERANCE that us Christians have for wickedness and evil. 

As today's church is becoming more worldly, so is the world becoming churchy. Church attendance is actually increasing. People are coming to religion today like never before; but they're not coming to Jesus Christ, Who is the very Foundation of Christianity (1st Corinthians 3:11).

God wants us to speak out against the evils of our generation . . .

"Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" —Psalm 94:16

We need to let our voices be heard. We should complain about homosexual advertising and boycott those businesses, such as Pepsi, who support such wickedness. We should complain about lewd advertising in stores, and offensive lyrics being aired over the store radio. We each must choose our own battles, but most of us do not fight even one tiny battle. America's churches, preachers and Christians are the moral conscience of the next generation. We are doing a horrible job! America is a moral pigpen, a cesspool of iniquity, a morally-toxic society!

When most Christians think of apostasy, they blame everyone but themselves. But it is our fault as Christians that America is in the mess it is in, because we have not taken a stand for what is right, a fighting stand! Would to God that more Christians in America were as committed to Jesus Christ as the Muslims are to Allah. We need more Billy Sundays, a lot more! Thank God for Billy Sunday and other such great men of faith! 

Television is as evil as can be—filled with sexually suggestive filth, violence and homosexuality. Alcohol consumption is still responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths every year in America. MADD is doing an excellent job, but where are the churches? Where are the angry fathers?

Where are the churches? Repent America is doing an excellent job protesting against Sodomy and abortion, but where are the rest of the churches? 

The fact is that God uses INDIVIDUALS, not churches. The churches that are doing a great work for God do so because they have a man of God (an INDIVIDUAL) who is on fire for God. Most pastors ONLY care about making another buck and keeping a roof over their head. It's sickening. Most pastors are afraid to preach too hard, lest they should lose tithing members. It makes God vomit (Revelation 3:16).

I know a preacher who preaches against Jack Daniels alcohol and Marijuana usage in his sermons. God forbid he should preach against beer and cigarette smoking, then he might offend someone. How many people drink Jack Daniels? Not as many as those who drink Budweiser! How many people smoke marijuana? Not near as many as those who smoke Marlboro cigarettes! It's so frustrating to hear a preacher beating around the bush. We need preachers who will speak the truth without worrying about how much money is going into the offering plates. America needs preachers, not business administrators! Most pastors are only concerned about paying the bills. What about THE TRUTH?

America's apostasy is directly linked to it's DEAD CHURCHES. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up America!

America is going to Hell! We need to get busy for God, speaking out against the evils around us. We need to preach the Gospel like never before, but not just the Gospel. The crazy idea that unsaved people will never get saved if we preach against sin is unbiblical. God makes no apologies for His Word, so why should we?

Please listen to me! America's unsaved are dying to find someone who is real, someone who is willing to take a stand! No one wants to go to a deadbeat church. Many unsaved people have become Christians because they heard a preacher crying aloud in a sermon against sin. These milquetoast, sissified, pantywaist, wimpy preachers nowadays who dip-their-sails and trim the truth are what is wrong with America! America needs Billy Sundays! America needs preaching preachers!

God give us more men with a burning passion to reach America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to preach aloud against the wickedness of this once great nation. God help us!
