In the inspired Holy Bible we are taught that God is love, and that we as God's children should unconditionally love our neighbours.
We read in Matthew 22:36-39, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Galatians 5:14, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
James 2:8-9, “If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”
In the preceding beautiful passages of Scripture we have Jesus, Paul and James all exhorting us to LOVE everyone unconditionally. By loving God and others, we are fulfilling God's law. The first five of the Ten Commandments deal with man's relationship with God; the last five of the Ten Commandments deal with man's relationship with man. If we simply LOVE God and others, we will fulfill God's laws. The inspired Holy Bible teaches to LOVE people, to love everyone unconditionally with God's love.
I believe even the vilest criminal on death row should
still be treated with love and respect as a human being created in the
image of God. Luke 6:35, “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and
lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye
shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the
unthankful and to the evil.” If God is kind unto evil people,
what gives us the right to be cruel? Think about that.
The Hateful New IFB Are An Embarrassment To Christianity
That all being said as introduction, I have a big problem with the corrupt New IFB. The New Independent Fundamental Baptist (New IFB) movement has approximately 30 churches in the United States and around the world. Thank God their infestation is small.
Their ungodly leader is Pastor Steven Anderson who founded the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, in 2006. The cult has since moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2025. When one man sets the beliefs and standards of a so-called “independent” group of dozens of churches, it is a personality cult at best and a religious cult at worst.
I heard Pastor Anderson say in a sermon that his father taught him as a boy that God hates homosexuals. His father also taught him to hate people. According to Steven Anderson, all homosexuals are pedophiles and should go put a bullet in their head. I learned a long time ago that people will not tolerate hatred. There is a right way and a wrong way to present the truth of God's Word.
Steven Anderson intentionally employs inflammatory rhetoric in his preaching and interviews that angers the public, which is totally unnecessary, unbiblical and counterproductive. His own four oldest children have come out against him since 2024, accusing him of emotional and physical abuse in the home for decades. Anderson's anger issues and hatred of people has finally caught up with him!
I had one lunatic New IFB follower recently call me a “fu_king fa_got” on Facebook simply because I teach that God loves homosexuals as human beings. I had to block him out to silence his rage and insanity. The New IFB are a strong magnet for nuts, weirdoes and abusive type personalities. I've encountered countless abusive haters on social media, mostly New IFB followers. Steven Anderson is dangerous to the cause of Christ, spreading his ungodly hatred of sinners everywhere he goes.
Although I used to reluctantly support Pastor Anderson because I chose to look the other way to support his soulwinning efforts, I can no longer support or follow him because he is getting worse. What Steven Anderson did to destroy his long time friend of 20 years, Pastor Roger Jimenez, was disgraceful and sickening. Pastor Anderson is full of wicked hubris, arrogance, pride and stubbornness (which 1st Samuel 15:23 says in equivalent to idolatry). The guy has never been broken in spirit!

God does not hate anyone, certainly not LGBTQIA+ people. The Lord hates their sins, but He loved the sinner so much that God gave His only begotten Son to die for us. And neither does God want His redeemed children to hate anyone, not even the worst sinner on the planet.
The New IFB
hate homosexuals so much, because of Steven Anderson's ungodly
influence, that they've decided the LGBTQIA+ community cannot be saved,
so why bother preaching the Gospel unto them? The New IFB as a whole
refuse to share the Gospel with any homosexual. That is evil.
Homosexuality Is Worthy Of The Death Penalty
Please don't misunderstand my Bible preaching. I am against the sin of homosexuality. I have been unjustly criticized by wicked pastors for my Biblical stance that homosexuals should receive capital punishment, according to Leviticus 20:13.
Case in point is a young whippersnapper named Pastor Brad Moffett, an incompetent fool at the Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida, who told me and my wife on April 30th, 2025, that homosexuals in the New Testament are under God's grace; and therefore, shouldn't be punished at all by the government. When I asked him if murderers should be put to death, he agreed that they should. So, I asked Pastor Brad the $64,000 question of what gives him or anyone else the right to selectively decide which moral offenses are worthy of the death penalty?
Pastor Brad then glibly dismissed Leviticus 20:13 as being under an Old Testament theocracy only for Israel that doesn't apply today. So then why does our government (e.g., Texas, Ohio, Florida) still execute the worst of criminals? No one has the God-given right to cherry pick which of God's laws should be worthy of punishment today. Biblically, adultery, kidnapping and homosexuality should all be punishable crimes by capital punishment.
The Word of God says they are worthy of death. Romans 1:32, “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Pastor Brad said that God didn't kill homosexuals in Romans one, He gave them over to their wickedness. This is a gross perverted mishandling of the Scripture by Pastor Brad Moffett. If what Brad says were true, then no one should be punished for any offenses, since we are all “under grace” as he claims. I think Brad needs to ask for a full refund from the crappy Bible college he attended in South Carolina, because they didn't teach him very well.
Furthermore, Brad is wrong that homosexuals are automatically under grace. That is simply not true! You are only under God's grace if you've been born again through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Only God's redeemed saints are under grace today. If you have never been born again, then you are still under the curse of God's Law, bound for the Lake of Fire.
God Loves Homosexuals And Desires For Them To Be Saved
So, to clarify, we ought to love homosexuals just like everyone else. They are human beings created in the image of God, sinners for whom Jesus Christ died on a cross to save (Romans 5:6-9). Just because they should be tried in a valid court of law and if found guilty, executed, doesn't mean that we should hate and bash on them like the toxic New IFB do.
Our country is confused today concerning morality, deliberately so by Satan. The American people have never been more divided on the moral issues of abortion, modesty, adultery, feminism, divorce, homosexuality and whether crime should be punished or not. God does not have an opinion; God is truth!
In closing, let me say that it is very wrong to demonize one certain class of sinners, to deem them as being unreachable with the Gospel. 2nd Peter 3:9 teaches that the Lord desires for 'ALL' (not some) to come to repentance (to change their mind) to believe the Gospel to be saved. God loves everyone. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
