Web visitors sometimes write to me, sending me the statement
of faith of an organization, or some political or religious group, asking me if
God rewards supporting such groups, or if I think they are worthy of our
Christian support. There is ongoing debate over whether money should be
given only to local New Testament churches or to a private evangelist, religious
work or private group. People are really confused. I always ask one
question: is the Gospel being preached diligently, and are souls getting
saved? Are lives being changed? Is the Bible being taught? What is that
preacher or group promoting?
By the way, I do not think tithing is a command in the New Testament, simply because there is no Scripture commanding it! We ought to give to Gospel preachers and their ministries, whether that be a church or an evangelist (a man who preaches the Gospel)! Don't you dare tithe to a religious cult that doesn't preach the Gospel. Pastor John MacArthur is a cult leader, who teaches the heresy of Lordship Salvation instead of the simple Gospel! It is insane what Americans are giving money to these days. Millions of simple (I am tempted to use the word stupid) religious people give their hard-earned money to some bozo pastor who teaches the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation. You might as well support Seventh-Day Adventism!!! Is your Baptist church really a religious cult? It is if they teach turning from sinful ways to be saved.
I actually had an idiot local Baptist pastor on Guam (a graduate of Dr. Ron Comfort's Ambassador Bible College and closely associated with Pensacola Christian College) diminish the gravity of the issue by saying that a person has to turn from something to turn to Christ. So he foolishly justifies the idea of “turning from sinful ways” to be saved. He supports Harvest Baptist Church (the largest Baptist cult on Guam), who teach Lordship Salvation, promote Dr. John MacArthur; and use, sell and promote Satan's corrupt modern Bible perversions!!! Yes, but that does NOT mean trying to forsake sinful behavior as a requirement to be saved, and that is exactly what that pastor allows in his church!!! Your best friend is the one who tells you the most truth! I am the best friend these dumb-dumb pastors on Guam have, but they count me as their enemy for telling THE TRUTH!!! Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”
That same backslidden pastor felt compelled to remind me that I am not an apostle. That was a really stupid thing for him to say, because the truth that I am proclaiming is the same truth that Paul proclaimed. I am upholding the Gospel as Paul taught it, but Harvest Baptist Church DOES NOT (the preach Lordship Salvation), and that little man for a pastor ought not bid Godspeed to Harvest. He is not right with God and I fear not saved, because he told his misled people that he was saved from an NIV (New International Version), which is corruptible seed. 1st Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” You cannot be saved from corruptible seed, which makes that pastor a LIAR!!!
You should never give money to someone just because they seem to believe right. Pastor Rick Warren has a great looking basic statement of faith, but from the pulpit he teaches New World Order garbage, like promoting the Catholic pope and Roman Catholicism. Like occultist Alice Bailey foretold, these last day Antichrist preachers maintain a superficial shell of biblical Christianity, while hollowing out the inside with New World Order philosophies. They are deliberately deceiving people, prostituting the churches to promote their doctrines of devils.
If you think that is not your pastor or church, think again! If you are using one of the modern paraphrases of the Holy Bible, aka, the Westcott and Hort manuscripts, you are deceived! You've been infected!!! If your pastor and church uses Chick Tracts, you are deceived! If your pastor or church promotes John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, John Piper, Paul Washer and their Calvinist doctrines, you are deceived!!! Calvinism is not the Gospel, it is a works-based plan of damnation that cannot produce the new birth, because you are expected to live a certain way to receive or prove you have salvation. If I have to live a certain way to prove I am saved, then works are required of me, as part of my faith, which is not the free gift of eternal life by faith alone in the Good News of Christ crucified on the cross for my sins, buried and bodily risen the third day. It's a catch 22 kind of thing. Calvinists deceitfully claim that you are not saved by works, but then they foolishly say that if you don't have works you are going to Hell (Paul Washer video). If you have to live in fear, if you don't walk in the narrow way of holy living (as Paul Washer teaches), then you are in fact trying to save yourself through works.
Another
example of a really good but deceptive statement of faith is Jack Chick. I'm not
going to link to different statements of faith, but you can easily find them if
you'd like. Jack Chick's statement of faith doesn't even mention the word
“repent.” Yet, very deceptively, every single one of his 800,000,000 plus Chick
Tracts that have been produced and sold over the past few decades require more
than simply admitting you are a sinner to be saved. Step two says you, in
addition, must “BE WILLING TO TURN FROM SIN (REPENT).” My dear friend,
repentance does NOT mean to turn away from sinful behavior, nor does it mean a
willingness to turn away from sinful behavior. Repentance is a change of mind.
The Bible does not tell us what that change of mind is, intentionally, leaving
it an open-end term, which is all-inclusive. That is, we must change our mind
(repent) of anything and everything that is hindering us from BELIEVING THE
GOSPEL to be saved. So the object of repentance is NOT a changed life; but
rather, to believe the Good News of Christ crucified on the cross for our
sins, buried and bodily risen the third day!!! That is THE GOSPEL by
which we are saved if we believe (1st Corinthians 1:21); Romans 1:16).
It is tragic, but true, that the true New Testament church is being driven underground in America. Faithful believers like me, who expose the Alexandrian counterfeit Bible versions, and expose false prophets like Dr. John MacArthur, and refute the false gospel of Lordship Salvation, are forced out of the churches as troublemakers. It is crazy!!! Churches are so backslidden and apostate, that they don't even realize a person who contends for the faith. It's bizarre, but Christianity is being driven underground. On the face of things in Europe and the United States, they look like Christian nations, there are plenty of churches, but when one digs deeper, when one really IS a Christian, and wishes to make a stand for the Christian faith, one quickly finds apostasy and rejection.
One web visitor asked me about Ethnos Canada, an alternative political movement intended to represent the voice of the churches. I was asked if God rewards someone for supporting such an organization. I looked closer and noticed that Roman Catholic churches are involved in the movement. Folks, Catholics are guilty of the sin of idolatry! God is not going to bless Roman Catholics who teach the satanic lie of sacramental salvation! No, God does not reward such wickedness. Yet, if you look online, they have a very orthodox Christian statement of faith, that even Roman Catholics would agree with. It is an ecumenical nightmare, and of the Devil. I tell you, NEVER support any organization at a distance. I would NEVER give money to anyone until I was right up there with them, seeing where the money is actually going. Stupid people send $25,000,000 a year to Ravi Zacharias, because he is a suave speaker and a celebrity in tens of thousands of churches. Yet, he praises homosexual Roman Catholic priests. Ravi bids Godspeed to hellbound Mormons, even addressing them as believers. Yet, Ravi's statement of faith seems pretty good. It is satanic deception!!!
