I visited a local religious bookstore the other day. I hadn't been
there for several years. They now have a new building, much bigger than years ago. They really did a nice job.
The last time I was in their store, they had a life-sized cardboard cutout
of Pastor Max Lucado on display. I asked the woman behind the counter if she
knew that Max Lucado teaches the heresy of
Baptismal Regeneration? She didn't like that at
all, and when I left I heard the door lock behind me! Ah yes, the truth,
gotta love how it affects people! I may be a nut, but that's okay, because I
am screwed onto the right bolt!
Anyway, that was years ago! I went back to the store for the first time in their new building, to buy some things for a family member. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness, organization and appealing atmosphere! Unfortunately, I found a bunch of Satanic corrupt Bible versions for sale, including the awful English Standard Version (ESV) that Bob Jones University (and their shameful graduates) use, sell and promote! I also saw a collection of books by Evangelist Billy Graham, a false prophet who teaches a false gospel. In fairness to the bookstore, I did find numerous King James Bibles for sale as well. So they have good things and evil things for sale to the public!
That is the big problem with having a religious bookstore, you'll never make enough money to keep the doors open if you only sell the truth! To stay in business, they have to sell counterfeit Bible versions, sinful merchandise, and materials that support the cults. It is not okay to sell heresy! I could never sleep at night if I helped promote counterfeit Bible versions!!! I could never sell Catholic prayer books. In short, I could never operate a religious bookstore. The only Book that we need is the inspired King James Bible!
