Hey Everyone, I'm Writing From Houston

by David J. Stewart | July 2021

Houston we have a problem! I just had to say that...lol. I just ate at Chick-Fill-A. I had a spicy chicken sandwich, which was really good. I gave the young lady cashier 3 silver dollar coins. When I bought a bottle of water earlier from an airport machine for $2, it gave me 3 dollar coins in return for my $5 bill. One was s Suzanna B. Anthony dollar coin from 1979, and the other two coins were some new gold coin that I've never seen before. The coins have President Thomas Jefferson on the front. The young woman was happy. I love being generous to people. That is what Jesus would do (Philippians 2:3).

Well, I am now waiting for my last flight from Houston to Pensacola, which departs at 9:44 am. The plane should arrive in Pensacola at 11:20 am. So this flight will be about 1:36 hours long. Then after completing 43 hours of traveling, my day just begins! I need to call the dealership so they can come get me, so I can pick up my new used Honda 2013 FIT. Then I need to carefully drive to Wal-Mart to buy a phone, so I can call people, and they can call me. Then I have to call some local rental companies and ask if I can speed the application process, since I am homeless. I found this place. It's really set up for college students. Basically you're renting one room, sharing a whole apartment with 2,3, or 4 people. The more people who share a kitchen and common needs, the cheaper the price. But this is perfect for me for now, because I just need a roof over my head. But still, the application process will likely take a couple weeks to be approved. They need to do a bunch of checks.

It is summer, and the 4th of July weekend, and it's Pensacola (a tourist destination). Everything is booked and prices are insanely high. That is why I outright purchased a vehicle, because rent cars were going for $4,000 per month. The Woodspring Suites really screwed me. Here's their hotel phone number on my reservation (1-850-476-6612). There's nothing I can do about it. They are fraudsters and liars, wicked greedy people. God will judge them (Matthew 25:40). They're at 2310 W. Detroit Blvd., Pensacola, Florida 32534. Isn't that rotten what they did? They just cancelled my 31-day reservation without saying a single word to me. They printed my correct e-mail right on the confirmation page? Yet they lie and said they couldn't reach me. They didn't even try. 2nd Thessalonians 3:2, “And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” An agreement is an agreement and to break it is wickedness. There are no excuses! It is unbelievable how crooked, dishonest, unreliable, shady and uncaring so many people are today, kind of like the Bob Jones crowd.

My life is going to be upside down for the next few weeks or months in Pensacola, so I won't be replying to any e-mails. As of right now I have no doctor, because the clinic I spent 2 weeks applying at rejected me without reason. Nice people, huh. People will just waste your time. And now I don't have any housing either, because these shady characters at Woodspring suites lied to me. God is always good. I am learning more and more each day just how rotten some human beings can truly be, ungodly selfish people like Pastor Marty Herron. The average pastor today is a theologically incompetent, lying, yellowbellied, arrogant, money-grabbing, opportunistic, parasite with Steve Pettit, Gary Walton and Marty Herron. These wicked people at the Woodspring suites remind of the Bob Jones crowd, they just do whatever the hell they feel like doing, without considering the dire consequences that it causes for the people they hurt!

I am tired. I've been traveling for 40 hours now, and have 3 hours left to go! I have nowhere to lay down to rest when I get to Pensacola, because these wicked people defrauded me. So I will have to try to rest in my car, which I where I will spent the night, unless I get blessed to find a place that is affordable. Hotels are running $300 a night and up right now. God will provide for me one way or another, even if I need to sleep in my vehicle, at least it's better than being on the street. All I can do is the best I know how. Okay, that's all for now. Jesus is precious!

I won't have a hotel room in Pensacola, so I am not sure the next time I'll be able to post online. Perhaps I can find an internet hotspot at a business that I can use. I'm using the airport's free Wi-Fi right now, which is pretty cool. I'm going to sign up at the YMCA right away, so I can shower there, shave and use their steam room. I also need to obtain a driver's license this week for Florida. I need to open a P.O. box at UPS Store right away, so I'll have a mailing address. As you can see, I have a lot to do, and without housing it is going to be very difficult.

I took this cool picture on the Houston airport terminal wall, of a seal and a little girl...
