Robbie Levinson (Seth Peterson) and Trey McCoy (Brian J. Smith) are an openly gay couple living in a suburban home near friend and next-door neighbor Kathleen Slansky (Lin Shaye). The couple plans to hold a commitment ceremony to exchange rings. Trey's mother, Barbara (Cindy Pickett), suggests to Trey, who suggests to Robbie, that the couple consider raising a child.
When Chris Boyd (Chad Donella) arrives next-door with a moving truck with friend Alton Kachim (Luke King), they disgustedly watch Trey kiss a nervous Robbie. Alton annoys Chris with his homophobic jokes, and suggests they "do something about it." Chris makes unprovoked, threatening remarks toward Robbie, telling Robbie he will "go to hell" and warns him to “watch his back." Chris is a youth pastor and the son of Pastor Boyd (Bruce Davison) who vehemently condemns homosexuality. Chris delivers Robbie his church's pamphlet after Kathleen refuses it and threatens retaliation should Chris get involved. Robbie subsequently learns of the church and Pastor Boyd, who is angered to learn Chris has long been estranged from his presumed daughter-in-law.
While walking his Boston Terrier, Trey is brutally attacked with a baseball bat and is taken to a hospital, where he falls into a coma. Under criminal investigation, the Boyd family conspires to agree on Chris' alibi. Robbie commits to a child, but Trey soon suffers severe brain hemorrhage and dies, having never awakened since the attack. Luke 6:31-32 and 35, “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. ...But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.”
Should
Christians love their homosexual neighbors? Yes! The Biblical answer is yes,
absolutely, without reservation, unconditionally, yes we should love all our
neighbors. Luke 6:35 proclaims that God is “kind unto the
unthankful and to the evil.” God sets the example for us to follow. The
Bible says that we ought to treat others the exact same way that we would
like to be treated.
We need to separate unconditional love from everything else, for it is exactly what God does. Luke 6:35 says that God is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. What a Scripture!
The Bible says that it is wrong in Luke 6:31-34
to only love those who love us, because that's the way of the sinful world.
It's not easy to do good to people who do bad things to us, but that is
God's will for every Christian. It's not easy to bless those who curse us,
but that is what God wants us to do. Just as God overcomes evil with good,
so are we to do the same in Christ toward everyone. Hatred should always be
countered with the unconditional love of God.
Homosexuality is Against the Law
Homosexuality is already against the law, God's Law!!! Homosexuality is immoral and ought to be against man's law as well, just as it is against God's Law. I say this, not to be unkind; but to be truthful. If our nation were a Christian nation, then homosexuality would be outlawed. Likewise, abortion and drunkenness would be illegal. Lewdness, pornography and public indecency would be outlawed. Immoral acts would be outlawed. Most people don't agree with that because most people don't believe that the Bible is God's holy, inspired, Word. It is not the proper place for citizens to take the law into their own hands. Our nation is apostate, having rejected God and His Word in our schools and government.
It is not our place as Christians to condemn sinners. If man's law is corrupt and heathen, contrary to God's Law; then there is nothing we can do except pray for our leaders to do what is right, live righteously ourselves, and publicly proclaim and uphold the truth of God's Word. America's courts are corrupt! Our lawyers are corrupt! Our Supreme Court is corrupt! Our politicians are corrupt! Our police have become corrupt! Albeit, all of these groups that I have mentioned are not primarily to blame. It is American citizens as a whole who are completely to blame for our nation's spiritual dire condition today. Our churches are corrupt, using corrupt Bibles, teaching corrupt doctrines, and are unequally yoked with 501c3 licensing by the State.
As the United States continues to deliberately abandon the God of the Bible, Who is the only God, manifest to the world through the Person of Jesus Christ; our nation's leadership is becoming increasingly corrupt, evil and a Police State! Mankind can legalize abortion, pornography, drunkenness and homosexuality all they want; but these sins will always be against God's law and punishable by God's divine wrath in eternity (Romans 1:32; Colossians 3:5-6; 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9).
Christians are in a bad situation in America, where wickedness abounds everywhere. Apart from fellowshipping with one another, there is no place for a God-fearing Christian to fit into society. It is unscriptural for believers to form close intimate relationships with unbelievers (2nd Corinthians 6:14-17). Sadly, many Christians are yoked and closely involved with heathens in unscriptural unions.
The unsaved world will never accept a holy God nor His holy Bible. Homosexuals want a false form of religion that tolerates homosexuality, honors the wicked, and doesn't try to get homosexuals to repent of their sins by preaching the truth about sin. What is happening in America and around the so-called civilized world today as as uncivilized and reprobate as can be, utter wickedness in the sight of God. Homosexuality is a disgusting sin!
The great dilemma for Christians is to preach
the truth of God's Word against homosexuality while simultaneously
expressing God's love for homosexuals and all humanity. It just cannot be
done!!! The Bible cannot be rewritten to be non-offensive to the wicked.
Homosexuals claim that any mention of homosexuality being a sin is
bigotry and dehumanizing slander. That's the exact wording used in
the pro-homosexual propaganda film,
PRAYERS FOR BOBBY. Christians will never win with the wicked. No
matter how loving God-fearing Christians try to be, homosexuals will never
be content until Christians are totally silenced and supportive of their
evil deeds.
Christians Should Express God's Unconditional Love for All Sinners
If God was willing to forgive our sins, then so ought we to forgive one another...
Ephesians 4:31-32, “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”
It's difficult for many people to separate the line between hating sin and loving the sinner, especially when sinners hate Christians for taking a Biblical stand for God against public wickedness. In 2005, he portrayed Trey, a gay man facing intolerance from the son of a fundamentalist preacher, in Hate Crime, an independent film featured at multiple gay and lesbian film festivals around the United States.
Homosexuals can't get enough of propaganda films like this, which demonize right-wing conservative Christians for preaching against homosexuality. Another recent film intended to infiltrate America's churches with the homosexual agenda is PRAYERS FOR BOBBY. There's a fine line between a hate crime and faithfully taking a Biblical stand against the sinful agendas of our time.
The following is the plot of the movie, HATE CRIME...
Let me say plainly that I am inexorably against Christians (or anyone for that matter) committing any type of acts of violence, intimidation, inciting hatred or verbal bashing of gays, abortionists or anyone. The Bible teaches for Christian believers to be as wise as serpents, but as harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). The homosexual community would like for everyone to believe that taking a stand for God against the homosexual agenda is inciting hatred and constitutes a hate crime; but that is nonsense and simply not the case at all. You can't properly love God without hating evil (Psalm 97:10). It is our Biblical duty as Christians to refute (expose) public wickedness (Ephesians 5:11).
Homosexuals are not hesitant about portraying fundamentalist, God-fearing, Bible-preaching, Christians as hatemongering bigots and homophobes. That is not a fair portrayal, nor is it anywhere even near truthful. It's not homosexuality that Christians are afraid of; but rather, the judgment of God (Romans 1:32). Romans 1:24-32 clearly teaches that the homosexual lifestyle is abnormal, against nature and brings the judgments of God upon sinners. Homosexuals today have no fear of God before their eyes (Romans 3:18); but that doesn't change the truth of God's Word. Romans 1:25 warns that homosexuals would change the truth of God into a lie; but God is still on His throne (Romans 8:34; Colossians 3:1-2; Hebrews 4:15-16) and no one can corrupt the God of the Bible (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). The God of the universe will do right, because He is a good and holy God, incapable of doing evil. Amen and amen!
Homosexuals can parade their homosexuality up and down every major city street in America, kiss and hold hands all across the nation in public, and shove their fist-sex perversion down children's throats in public school classrooms; but just let one Christian quote a Scripture about homosexuality at a town hall community gathering and you'll end up like Michael Marcavage, having your head slammed against the wall of an elevator by the local police chief. Hell will be hot enough!
Exercising one's First Amendment free-speech right to protest abortion, pornography, Harry Potter's witchcraft, immoral television and homosexuality in our nation is certainly not inciting hate crimes (unless such intent is expressed). This is why I expose Minister Fred Phelps as a government plant, a fraud and a deceiver. Fred Phelps' group incites hatred across the nation. That is not what Christianity is all about. In my humble opinion, Fred Phelps is a government sponsored PROVOCATEUR, deliberately inciting hatred to justify police brutality against peaceful Christians who rightfully stand for God. What Fred Phelps and his stooges are doing is a dirty trick that goes back since the beginning of time. Not surprising, all of his children (eight I think) are lawyers. As old as the tactic is, it still works every time. I am fully convinced that Mr. Phelps is a front for the criminal banking-cartel which has hi-jacked our government in Washington D.C.! America has gone to hell!
This is what the city of Seattle did in the 1999 summit trade meetings. They sent out provocateurs to smash storefront windows and set things on fire, thus giving the riot police a reason to bash in the heads of peaceful protestors (and they did). You can always tell who the provocateurs are because they usually wear masks like cowards. They are quick to retreat after destroying things and look husky like military or cops. They should be in prison. Homeland Security plays dirty, just as crooked cops all across the country. The U.S. government is guilty of committing more hate crimes than any organization on earth. I was visiting California for surgery in 2009 and read a message that someone had written on a stone by Santa Monica Beach, saying, “local cops are corrupt.” That spoke volumes.

Biblical Separation
Having laid the foundation of love, let me say that the Bible teaches separation from those who live in open sin and claim to be right with God. 1st Corinthians 5:11, “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.” If a person claims to be a homosexual Christian and proud of it, then we are to separate ourselves from that person, that they may be ashamed, for they are blaspheming (speaking evil) of the things of God.
2nd Thessalonians 3:6 and 14, “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. ... And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.”
We are to withdraw ourselves from establishing close relationships with people who disobey God's Word, who sinfully follow Roman Catholic or other heathen traditions instead of the Bible. Very few people in the world today believe and live by the Bible. Ironically, most people know some religious lingo and Christian teachings; but they are totally devoid of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (2nd Timothy 3:5). They have never truly been born-again by the Seed of God's Word (1st Peter 1:23), through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26), by the Spirit of God (John 1:12-13; Romans 8:9).
Unrepentant
sinners are often quick to point out that Jesus was a friend of sinners
(Matthew 11:19); but may I remind you that it was the wicked, self-righteous
and phony religious, Pharisees who said that of Christ. It was the wicked
Pharisees who called Jesus “a friend of publicans and sinners.” Certainly
the Lord is a friend to all mankind, having paid our sin debt by going to
Calvary; but never let it be said that our Lord with a close companion of
riotous, defiant and lewd sinners.
Hebrews 1:9 teaches that Jesus “HATED INIQUITY.” Yet Jesus did not come into the world to condemn anyone. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:17). The Bible plainly teaches that publicans and sinners came to sit down by Jesus to eat...
Matthew 9:10, “And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.”
Publicans and sinners came to Jesus because
they knew the Lord loved them and didn't condemn them for their sins. John
3:20 teaches that evildoers didn't come to the Lord, lest their deeds should
be reproved. It was humble sinners who came to Jesus, who knew they were
sinners. Matthew 11:29 says that Jesus was “meek and lowly in heart.”
Hebrews 13:8 proclaims, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to
day, and forever.” The same Lord receives sinners today who come to Him
for forgiveness (Romans 10:12). Jesus came “preaching the gospel”
(Mark 1:14).
As Christians we should love others and keep in mind that our battle is not against human flesh and blood; but rather, against spiritual principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).
Proverb 29:27, “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.”
“And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life" (John 5:40)
Notice that Jesus said “ye will not come,” not ye cannot come.
