David Blaine Mocks God!

Preparing the way for the Antichrist

by David J. Stewart

"And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said." —Exodus 7:22

David Blaine may be sincere, but he is serving the Devil. I was disturbed when I read in the news that Mr. Blaine was trying to discredit the miracles of Jesus Christ recorded in the Bible by imitating them. The unsaved masses have eaten this up and can't get enough. David Blaine is being praised by God-haters and Christ-rejecters for trying to prove that Jesus was no more than a great magician...

"Magician Blaine to recreate Jesus' miracles for Easter
Magician David Blaine will tonight attempt to mark Easter Sunday by recreating as many of Jesus' miracles as he can in 45 minutes. He will begin his act inside a sealed metal box, suspended from a crane 100ft in the air, where he intends to turn his own urine into wine, bake bread using only the power of his mind and produce 5,000 fish out of a box of fish fingers.

Blaine's publicist, Douglas Ramsbottom, says he will then be dropped to the ground, landing on a pile of cardboard boxes. "This is the highlight of David's act," he told DeadBrain. "The descent will be rapid and he may bounce at the end. It's going to be very exciting."

Once M. Blaine has reached the ground he will climb out of what is expected to be a small crater, in a pastiche of Jesus' raising from the dead. Finally, after serving fish and chips to the audience, the magician will perform his "grand finale". Details are being kept under wraps, but it is believed to involve a pack of cards, a bunch of flowers, a rabbit, a hat and his sleeve.

The show's producers hope to publicize the story in book format and in a six-part television series entitled "Jesus' Secrets - REVEALED". A friend of Mr. Blaine denied that he was trying to outdo Jesus. "Jesus had the whole Bible thing, David has his book, but somehow I don't think it will be such a big seller," said Gregory T Mullet. "Besides, Jesus had the son of God thing going for him. David's not quite at that stage yet."

A spokesman for Jesus said he was unavailable for comment."

What blasphemy! To even dare suggest that Jesus performed His miracles by magic is evil. Can David Blaine raise the dead like Jesus did? Can David Blaine heal sick people with incurable diseases like Jesus did? Can David Blaine make the blind see, the lame walk, and the deaf hear? No! Yet, he arrogantly COMPARES his magic to the Son of God. David Blaine is obviously NO Christian and desperately needs to come to the Savior He mocks.

Sadly, Mr. Blaine will go to Hell if he dies in his sins, and no amount of magic will enable him to escape the wrath of the God He mocks. Psalm 7:11 declares that "God is ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY." This is true of all Christ-rejecters, and not just David Blaine. Tragically, Mr. Blaine has the following of millions of people, and he is leading them further away from God. I do not condemn anyone, for I am a hell-deserving sinner just like everyone else. I am simply taking a stand for God against works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11).

Is David Blaine's Magic Just Harmless Fun?

On a recent showing of David Blaine's magic on TV, he performed some levitation tricks, appeared to be able to read people's minds, and made a dead fly come to life. Although there are numerous books and articles written, which clearly reveal David Blaine's tricks; still, many people who don't KNOW any better are really "freaking out." This may seem like harmless fun, but listen to what I heard some of his audience say...

One person said, "This is Devil stuff!"

Another person said, "He must be a spiritual man."

These are VERY disturbing statements. It raises many questions about the alleged "harmlessness" of magic tricks which lead people to think of a magician as a spiritual man, or of the Devil. It is obvious from the reaction of many people that signs, miracles, and tricks are OFTEN associated with spiritual power, whether it be God's or Satan's. To help you more fully realize the seriousness of the matter, let's look at Matthew 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The Word of God teaches that false Christ's and false prophets will deceive their followers with signs and wonders (magic). This is happening today in many nations, and has been happening for quite some time. The fact that David Blaine's magic leads people to believe that he has spiritual power is a clear indication of how gullible the masses of society are. Ignorance of the Word of God makes one extremely vulnerable to Satan.

The best way to expose the darkness is to shine the Light of God's Word. The problem is that most people are woefully ignorant of the Scriptures; and worse, couldn't care less. These are the fools, who receive not the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, and shall be deceived by Satan with all deceivableness of unrighteousness...

"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

Satan is using his servants, everyone from professed "Christian" rock musicians to magicians like David Blaine... all preparing the Beast system for the Antichrist, who will appear after the Church is Raptured from this sin-cursed world. I see photos of people bowing to statues, women kissing priest's hands, professed "Christians" promoting Harry Potter's witchcraft, Feminist theology and so much more. Truly, the masses are being conditioned for Satan's Antichrist.

David Blaine is turning people away from God with his devilish magic. It is devilish in the way he is using it, just as the wicked magicians of Pharaoh. Exodus 7:22 reads...

"And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said." —Exodus 7:22

God had performed a miracle by the hand of His servants Moses and Aaron. Pharaoh didn't believe it was of God; but, rather, a gimmick. So Pharaoh called for his magicians (who performed magic) to "recreate" the miracle, AND THEY DID. As a result, PHARAOH'S HEART WAS HARDENED towards God. David Blaine is HARDENING people's hearts towards God by claiming, and "recreating" many of the miracles which Jesus performed. Let me ask you a question: Did the fact that Pharaoh's magicians could recreate God's miracle mean that Moses and Aaron were frauds? No! BUT, Pharaoh's heart was still hardened against God.

Likewise, David Blaine's mockery of Christ, by recreating His miracles, does not in any way discredit Jesus Christ. BUT, the hearts of millions of people are being hardened by David Blaine's wickedness, just as the wickedness of Pharaoh. David Blaine's works are of the Devil, and the magic he performs is hardening people's heart's against the Savior, Who is the Creator of the universe, Jesus Christ.

Further proof of what I am saying can be found in several internet forums. One forum member says concerning David Blaine's magic...

"David Blaine proves that Jesus didn't need to be the son of god to do the things he did." —SOURCE

Clearly, David Blaine's works are of the Devil, and his magic is being used to harden people's hearts against the Lord Jesus Christ.
