Beware Of The Fear Mongers

By David J. Stewart

Luke 12:29, “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.”

There are many people today who are exploitive, trying to make money through the use of fear-mongering. It bothers me. They're greedy and want your money, period. I'm sick of hearing charlatans talk about the coming empty grocery store shelves, trying to make a buck by selling storable foods. I'm sick of hearing merchants stress the dire importance of buying gold and silver for security. They make it sound like you can't live without gold, storable foods, and all the other survival gimmicks they're pushing.

That's not what the Bible teaches. Jesus plainly taught that the heathen world WORRIES about what they are going to eat, drink, and wear. You had better take heed to what the Lord Jesus Christ said in Luke 12:15,20...

Luke 12:15 and 20, “And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. ... But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?”

Jesus immediately follows this warning about the foolish rich man by telling us not to worry about earthly provisions, because God will provide for us. It is a sin to worry about what we will eat, drink, and wear tomorrow. You can't trust God and worry at the same time.

Certainly, there is a healthy concern that is justified, planning for emergencies and being diligent to plan ahead; however, I see a lot of scare-mongering and fear-mongering today, ridiculously so, causing people to unreasonably worry. If you are more concerned about your financial future than you are about winning souls to Jesus Christ, then you are not right with God. If you are more concerned about storing food and ammunition than you are about searching the Scriptures and sinning less, then you are not right with God.

I'm sick and tired of hearing people talk about how much we need gold and storable food on the radio; while hypocritically blasting occult Rock 'N' Roll, admitting that they go to massage parlors, having absolutely no concern about their spiritual condition. Something is VERY wrong with that. These are professed Christians! God is more concerned about your spiritual condition than He is about you storing food or laying up gold for the future. You had better get right with God.

I wanted to vomit listening to a pastor recently on the radio, who was pushing the sale of gold. He kept saying that gold is the only answer... gold, gold, gold! That pastor is not right with God; he never mentions Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6:20 to “lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” The Bible tells us to lay up treasures in Heaven, not here on earth.

The Bible says in Proverb 11:30 that the wise man wins souls to Christ. Do you know what wisdom is? If you want to buy gold and store food, fine; but have you shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone lately? If not, then you are foolish. You are not concerned about the things of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:21). You are not right with God.

Beware of the fear-mongers! Don't let anyone cause you to worry about future provisions here on earth more than laying up treasures in Heaven. You don't need gold more than you need to go soul-winning. You don't need storable food more than you need to get saved if you've never come to Christ. You don't need ammunition more than you need to search the Scriptures. Your spiritual condition comes first. The Bible repeatedly tells us to trust God (Psalm 118:8), lean not unto our own understanding (Proverb 3:5-7), and separate from this sinful world (1st John 2:15-17).

Yet most Christian believers are choked by the cares, riches, and pleasures of this world (Luke 8:14). Many never grow in the Lord and quickly backslide into sin (Luke 8:13). And sadly, many people never get saved (Luke 8:12). God wants every believer to keep His Word and become soul-winners (Luke 8:15). Do you care about the things of Jesus Christ? Very few believers do.

I wrote this article to encourage others to seek the things of Jesus Christ and lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven (Matthew 6:20). Many sellers today are carnally-minded and greedy, seeking only to make money by creating public fear and panic. Don't fall for it! God tells us not to worry as the unsaved world does. Jesus wants us to trust and obey. May we as born-again believers focus on winning as many souls to Jesus Christ as possible. That's where true riches lay.

The Commodity of Gold and Funny Money

I understand that selling gold is a legitimate business, just like selling groceries. Why do grocery stores sell food when they can eat the food? Well, it's because supply is greater than demand for food in American culture. If there was a food shortage, then people would horde food. If they did sell it, you'd pay $150 for a jar of strawberry preserves like in the 1973 movie starring Charlton Heston, SOYLENT GREEN.

When our economy collapses, and it will soon, neither gold nor money will be of use to you. The government is already confiscating people's gold and bank accounts, and there's no authority to execute justice. Wall Street bankers are above justice, literally. They are invincible in this wicked world, but God will punish them (Isaiah 13:11). MF GLOBAL stole Gerald Celente's gold and he couldn't get his money back in November of 2011. Unbelievable!!! I agree with Gerald, they likely didn't have the gold for him to take delivery of his commodity contract. He had intended to take possession of his contracts, but they probably didn't have the gold because they're crooks. Goldman Sachs are a massive gang of criminals!

If you want to prepare for what's coming, the best thing you can do is to move out of the country. I heard Gerald Celente in December of 2011 on The Alex Jones Show recommend Norway in his Trends Forecaster newsletter. The globalists are going to create artificial scarcity of food, water and oil. Most people don't realize that the globalists own the  Monsanto corporation (the mad scientists who gave us brain-eating ASPARTAME). Monsanto has created genetically modified seeds that terminate after a year, and seeds that won't grow unless activated with a proprietary substance. This gives them total control over the world's food supply. The New World Order is a global private world government.

The globalists have built a massive seed storage vault in the arctic to store original seeds. This is because eventually all food will be derived from fake seeds that the globalists genetically control and can turn off at will. It's weird and frightening science. Research these things for yourself! Whereas God made seeds to reproduce AFTER HIS KIND (Genesis 1:12), Monsanto has produced GM seeds that terminate instead. Mankind has an insatiable desire to play God and tamper with life. No wonder Jesus foretold of worldwide famines and pestilences in the End Times (Matthew 24:7).

The major cities are going to quickly become crime zones, like from the movie MAD MAX starring Mel Gibson. Another option is to move to the remote Hawaiian islands or a tropical U.S. territory where food will always be plenteous (because you're surrounded by the ocean and you can grow crops easily in warm climate). Cities like Chicago and New York will become war zones of panic, crime and

So gold brokers sell you gold in exchange for your “funny money” and then they can buy their own gold, oil or food, et cetera. They're making a small profit on gold sales. It's similar to selling groceries. Stores buy food wholesale in bulk quantities from suppliers and then sell it to you for a slightly higher price to make a profit. That's exactly what gold brokers do. That's how they make a living. It's a legitimate business and I'm not saying it's wrong. But honestly, when our economy implodes in America, you'd be a fool to think that you're going to buy food with your gold while your neighbors are hungry. The have nots are going to rob and kill the haves! Your gold coins and private garden aren't going to save you.

My point is that all the FEAR-MONGERING is in vain, being used to exploit people's fears to make a buck. You can buy all the gold you want; but you had better stash it under your mattress, don't tell anyone, buy some 50 caliber guns, get a mean loyal pitbull dog (and feed him ribeye steak everyday), put 10-deadbolt locks on your house doors, and pray! You saw what happened during the Rodney King riots in California. The Negroes (respectfully) ripped and burned half the city to the ground. I saw a Caucasian truck driver get his head bashed in, literally, with a cinder block. He didn't do anything wrong. The Negroes were so angry that they just wanted to kill a white man. They dragged him from his truck and left him for dead. Unfortunately, he survived and has to live in horrible pain and disability for the rest of his life. This is what will happen when the economy implodes!

If you want to worry, China is much more of a threat than the collapsing dollar. I read some comments by a guy on the internet who said with today's satellite surveillance, the Chinese could never attack the U.S. without being detected. That man doesn't get it yet... our government has been hi-jacked by criminals. We're going to war... whether it be to defend Taiwan against China, or South Korea against North Korea and China, or the Middle East... it's coming! I believe millions of soldiers will die!

Mob action is coming to America when our economy soon implodes, and Chinese (or other foreign) troops will be brought in to smash the resistance. That explains why 5,000,000 coffins are sitting around the nation (for political dissidents), and Operation Garden Plot was started under Reagan (internment camps for U.S. citizens), and Homeland Security is spending billions to set up a surveillance spy grid nationwide. Welcome to the new oppressive society in America. The days of officer friendly are over; now it's a jackboot thug in a militarized Darth Vader uniform trained to be a monster. Police State USA! And most recently, the frightening NDAA law that now gives the government the power to indefinitely detain Americans... literally, they can make you disappear just because they don't like you! President Barack Obama signed the treasonous bill into law on December 31, 2011. They think you're stupid, that you don't know how the world works, that you won't challenge them. These are gangs, mafias, secret mob groups.

Bombshell: FEMA Camps Confirmed

What is mean by “funny money” (or FIAT money)? In the early days of America, before the criminal Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was passed, people were paid in silver or gold. When the Panama Canal was built between 1904-1914, there were 20,000 workers who were paid in silver and gold. They had a sharp racial division. The whites (skilled workers from America) were paid with gold; but the unskilled locals (non-whites) were paid with silver. It's interesting. They didn't get paid in money.

The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 began what was known as “Fractional Reserve Banking.” That is, the bankers only needed by law to keep a small fraction of gold to back the dollars they were printing on a printing press. The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was railroaded through at Christmas when most of Congress was away. They gave themselves a big Christmas present. President Woodrow Wilson betrayed America (and the banking cartel gave him wine, women and song until the day that he died as repayment for selling his soul to the Devil). Hence, the term “funny money” refers to U.S. dollars that have no solid gold backing. They're as worthless as play money from the Monopoly game, or Geoffrey Dollars from Toys-R-Us.

Simply, money was originally equivalent to it's worth in literal grains of gold or silver. You could exchange your dollars for physical gold; but in 1913 and decades after, the banks were only required to keep one-tenth (10%) of the gold in reserve (that is, a fraction). So it allowed Congress and the federal government to print money wildly and borrow ten-times more than the banks had gold in reserve. It was a massive scam!!! They did this for various reasons, ultimately to bankrupt America; thus, destroying our nation's economy by design.

But the more imminent reason was to pay for World Wars I and II. The Federal Reserve is neither federal nor do they have any reserve. The central bank is privately owned, primarily by the Rothschild family. No one knows where the gold went. President Nixon removed America completely from the gold-standard, meaning that our paper “funny money” today is worth nothing in gold value. Our money is only worth what the credit of the U.S. government has. Scary huh? The credit rating of the U.S. has been downgraded at least twice this year (2011) so far. We're going down as a republic!

The idea behind buying gold is that when the dollar devalues to nothing (and it will soon), your gold will retain its intrinsic mineral value, and likely increase in market value. You could for the sake of argument buy soybeans, corn or pork bellies to retain your wealth. As the dollar devalues into oblivion, pork bellied would still be worth a lot. The problem is that food spoils and you'd need a big freezer facility to care for your investment. Thus, silver and gold are the most practical investment which will never spoil.

So we're talking about commodities and the futures market when we're talking about gold and silver. I've studied futures contracts and they are fascinating, but dangerous financially to get involved with. I'd never recommend futures for speculators, only farmers to protect their livelihood so their family can eat if the season doesn't yield a bumper crop. That's why people buy gold as an investment. As the dollar goes down, gold goes up! I wouldn't be surprised if gold hits $7,500 an ounce or higher in the years to come.

So, yes, the people selling groceries could eat the food instead of selling it; but then they wouldn't make any profits. They sell food because there is a surplus of food. If there was a famine in our country, no one would sell food, and if they did, you'd pay $150 for a jar of strawberry preserves like in the 1973 movie, starring Charlton Heston, SOYLENT GREEN.

If you want to make a worldly investment, I think gold is certainly a safer bet than stocks, zero-coupon bonds or utilities; however, our Lord jesus Christ has promised a hundredfold return on our investment into the things of Jesus Christ (Matthew 19:29). That's a $10,000 return for every $100 you give God to further the gospel and the things of Jesus Christ. Mind you, the Bible does not promise financial wealth in this life, for Lazarus was poor and the good guy in the story. Most Christians who are fed to the lions throughout history were eaten, unlike Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in the Book of Daniel, Chapter two.

2nd Timothy 3:12 says that living godly in Christ Jesus brings suffering and persecution. Those who truly serve Christ will bare a cross of shame, suffering and even facing crucifixion like our Lord. Those GQ girly boys and whorish glamour-girl Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) singers who profess to serve God, corrupting our churches with worldliness, singing for money and entertaining worldly church crowds, are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.

Those who preach the offence of the gospel—preaching the truth that all works of self-righteousness (of Catholics and Lordship Salvationists) are damnable heresies—will be hated for Christ's sake. The gospel is that Christ died, was buried and rose again triumphant for our sins (1st Corinthians 15:1-4), washing our sins away with His precious literal shed blood (1st John 1:7). Anyone who adds making a commitment, giving up the world, or departing from a sinful lifestyle to be saved are liars, preaching ANOTHER GOSPEL. I am greatly hated for preaching the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4).

If you stand as a Christian against the wicked agendas of our time—murderous abortion, vile homosexuality, vulgar drunkenness, casino gambling, unforgiving divorce, feminist rebellion, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera... YOU WILL BE HATED FOR CHRIST'S SAKE (John 15:19). The Devil and his worldly followers will tolerate a weak-kneed believer who cow-tows, compromises and dips-his-sails; but the Devil and his own will persecute and prosecute a faithful Christian who stands true to the Word of God against immorality, deception and all falsehoods. Oh for such Christians today!!!

Laying Up Treasures in Heaven

I say go soul-winning and focus all your effort on winning souls to Jesus Christ. All the gold in this world won't earn you even one reward in Heaven. What will all your gold and storable food matter 100-years from now? It will mean NOTHING! God rewards our labors in the Lord (1st Corinthians 3:6-8).

Promoting gold and silver won't get anyone rewards in Heaven. Promoting ammo sales and storable foods won't get anyone rewards in Heaven. Only what we do for Jesus' sake and the Gospel's will be rewarded. You'll never hear people talk about giving to the needy and poor in Jesus' name; instead they push laying up treasures for themselves. The people who push the sale of gold and silver always appeal to one's financial self-preservation. I never hear anyone talk about giving, helping, or serving; it's always about laying up for your own future. The Bible condemns that selfish type of thinking. If you live for yourself, then you won't have anything in Heaven. God does NOT reward selfishness. Only those who turn many to righteousness will shine as the brightness of the stars forever (Daniel 12:3).

Please understand that I'm not trying to be unkind in any way, nor am I criticizing any particular person or group. My intent is to get you to think about eternity instead of this temporal earthly life. It will all be over very soon. You won't be alive on this earth 100-years from now. You will be dead, and so will I. In fact, over 6 billion people alive today will all be dead in 100-years. All that will matter then is whether you died IN THE LORD (Revelation 14:13), or IN YOUR SINS (John 8:24). All that will matter then for believers is whether you served God as a soul-winner; or lived selfishly, never having won anyone to the Lord (2nd Corinthians 5:11; 1st Corinthians 3:6-9).

Don't get caught up into the mindset of a fear-monger—worrying about food, finances, car, boat, home, possessions, assets, retirement, et cetera. It will all be someone else's when you die. You cannot take any of it with you past the grave. You cannot take even one penny of this world's wealth with you into eternity. What are you doing for God? Are you living right? Are you a soul-winner? What are you doing to contend for the faith? Will you shine in eternity? ...

Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
