Eternal life is based upon God's PROMISE; and not in amending one's ways or surrendering all to Christ.

Salvation is A GIFT! The mindset of the born-again believer is simply that
eternal life is a free gift paid for by Jesus precious, literal, shed,
blood. Salvation is based upon the PROMISES of God (Titus 1:2), rooted in
God's unconditional love that sent Jesus into the world to pay the sin debt
of all mankind (1st John 3:16).
As born-again believers we have a FREE-GRACE mindset of salvation. I KNOW I am saved because God PROMISED to save those who believe upon the name of Jesus, the Christ (Romans 10:13). It's a free gift! This is vastly different from the corrupted mindset of those who believe that faith is not enough to be saved.
A FREE-GRACE view of the gospel is vastly different than those who believe that it is the life which a person lives which determines their eternal destiny. Seventh day Adventists and John MacArthur teach this heresy. Roman Catholics and Lordship Salvationists have the same identical views on what it means to be born-again.
Folks, America's churches are in big
trouble today!!! Satan is relentlessly attacking what it means to be
saved. Satan has tricked hundreds-of-millions of churchgoers to swap out
their inspired King James Bible (a mighty double-edge sword) for
the New International Version (a flimsy plastic knife). You can't
win a spiritual war with inferior weaponry. The Bible says we are AT WAR
(Ephesians 6:12; 2nd Timothy 2:4; James 4:1-2; 1st Peter 2:11). Most
believers behave as if we're at a carnival or circus. Put away your
cotton-candy and get your sniper-rifle (Bible) out and start firing.
The Demonic Self-Righteous Mindset of Unsaved Modernists
Every heretic fails to grasp the mindset of a gift.
The Bible teaches that sincerity is a road to the Lake of Fire (Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25). To the religious heretic who ADDS self-righteous works to be saved, salvation is a completely different mindset. To the self-righteous man, eternal life does not come easy. Faith is not enough by itself to save a person from Hell, there must also be commitment and surrender to a higher calling. Ray Comfort plainly states that faith is not enough to be saved. Mr. Comfort is an extremely popular evangelist with his ministries, THE WAY OF THE MASTER and LIVING WATERS. Unfortunately, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron teach the heresy of Lordship Salvation...

Heresy! That is self-righteousness! Adding even the slightest work of self-righteousness to the Gospel corrupts it into a false way, a false plan, a road to damnation.
HERETICS ARE EVERYWHERE TODAY!!! We read the same type garbage on many ministry websites today; such as SoundChristian.com, which also teaches the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation.

HERESY!!! Does the Bible require people to stop harmful activities in their life to be saved? No, not at all. SoundChristian.com is NOT sound at all, corrupting what it really means to repent. If a person has to stop harmful activities to be saved, then that's self-righteousness. The gospel is under attack these days like never before. Everybody is coming out with a new gospel every day... a new ministry... a new book... a new website... a new Jesus... et cetera.
In the minds of Dr. John MacArthur, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron, they will jeopardize their salvation if they go out on the town deliberately engaging in drunkenness and wild sex orgies as a permanent lifestyle. Read the heretical words of these men for yourself. God doesn't give any believer permission to sin (Romans 3:31), and has warned that He will chastise His children when they sin (Hebrews 12:6-8; Job 5:17); but this has absolutely nothing to do with the free gift of God which is offered to all mankind. Romans 4:25, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly... his faith is counted for righteousness.”
By the way, Ray Comfort steers clear of this Scripture in his 'THE EVIDENCE BIBLE'. Mr. Comfort can't reconcile Romans 4:5 with his house-of-cards theology. Ray Comfort extensively quotes Charles H. Spurgeon as a secondary authority (since he can't quote any Scriptures to support his Lordship Salvation false doctrine). Here's a powerful quote from Charles Spurgeon that Lordship Salvationists have never heard (or refuse to acknowledge). Spurgeon preached against Lordship Salvation, as did Pastor Harry Ironside as well.
Evangelist Paul Washer got so mad about being exposed that he burst out in anger, calling Fundamental Baptists like me “stupid.” Mr. Washer is calling God stupid then, because the Bible teaches that eternal life is WITHOUT WORKS (as you just read for yourself in Romans 4:5). Romans 4:3-5 refers to Genesis 15:6 where Abram (later to be renamed 'Abraham' by the Lord) was saved. Abram simply “believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:6). Acts 10:43 confirms that there has always been ONE gospel, and only ONE. Sinners were saved in the Old Testament the same way that we are today... BY LOOKING TO JESUS! Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” This was the text Verse by which Charles Spurgeon came to Jesus Christ one snowy day, when the pastor of the church was snowed-in and a layman preached instead. Amen!
The Salvation Army today upholds the beliefs of their founders, William and Catherine Booth, both Calvinists who taught perverted view of the gospel. They teach...
“We believe that continuance in a state of salvation depends upon continued obedient faith in Christ.”
The implication is that salvation can be lost by not continuing in faith. If a person has to do anything to remain in a “state” of salvation, then it is no longer a gift. They even use the word “state” in the preceding quote. May I kindly say, salvation is NOT A STATE!!! Eternal life is a NEW BIRTH. The new birth is as irreversible as the physical birth. The new birth (or spiritual birth, a second birth) is a gift from God to those who receive it on the basis of Christ's death, burial and resurrection as payment for our sins. Once you receive a gift, it is yours forever.
I hate Calvinism. I saw a recent video on YouTube that said, “Calvinism is salvation.” That is a false statement if ever there was one! Calvinism is self-righteousness! John Calvin (1483-1546) was a total reprobate. I don't ascribe to the beliefs of Jacob Arminius either. I SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES as Jesus commanded in John 5:39. I am not a Protestant, I am a born-again Christian. All Protestant churches teach SACRAMENTS, which are utterly unbiblical.
Those who claim to no longer be Christians were never saved in the first place. 1st John 2:19, "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." If saved, always saved.
2nd Peter 2:1 says that Jesus bought (redeemed) false prophets, yet they
still deny Him. Christ died for the sins of all men. 2nd Corinthians
5:14, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that
if one died for all, then were all dead.” This Scripture plainly teaches
that Jesus Christ died for all men, for all are dead in trespasses and sins
until they receive Christ (Ephesians 2:1; John 1:12-13). Every believer is
spiritually alive (quickened) by the Spirit of Christ which comes to indwell
(live inside the body) of every believer (Romans 8:9). Amen!
The Demonic 'Baptismal Regeneration' Mindset of Unsaved Modernists

I am very saddened as I discover more and more churches, televangelists, preachers and so-called ministries that teach Baptismal Regeneration. It's not a trifle matter of mere semantics. I wish it were. For example: 84,262 International Churches of Christ teach Baptismal Regeneration. BAPTISMAL REGENERATION is the unbiblical teaching that a person MUST be water baptized in order to go to Heaven.
I was listening to The Alex Jones' Show on February 10, 2012 and they promoted ENDTIME Ministries at EndTime.com, which teaches heresy. On their website, ENDTIME Ministries teaches the devil doctrine of Baptismal Regeneration. The following quote is from the ENDTIME.com website...
"Next, the Bible teaches that we are baptized into His name, and that’s when our sins are remitted. The Bible says,
'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…' (Acts 2:38) [NKJV].
That means that payment is being made for our sins. The Bible says that, “as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death…” (Romans 6:3) [NKJV]. When we go down in baptism by immersion, in the name of Jesus Christ, His death is applied to pay our sin bill. ..."
LIES! LIES! LIES! Baptismal Regeneration is a lie of the Devil and a road to Hell. You don't get saved through water baptism. Salvation is the gift of God, by grace through faith in the Lamb of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). Irvin Baxter is a heretic and errs woefully concerning the Scriptures! If you follow Baxter's false gospel, you'll go straight to Hell when you die. Water baptism has absolutely NO PART in Biblical salvation!!!
The mindset of the Biblical believer is simply that eternal life is a free gift. This is the mindset of the Bible. Salvation is received, not achieved. You don't get dunked in a tank of water to be forgiven. Those who require water baptism for salvation are guilty of teaching works salvation (which is a false gospel).
John 3:16, “For God so loved
THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.” God loves you my friend, no matter who you are. Eternal life is a
gift freely offered to WHOSOEVER WILL receive it. A person is saved by
admitting their guilt of sin before God (Romans 3:19); by trusting upon Jesus as
the Christ, the only begotten Son of God Who died, was buried, and rose
again three days later for our justification (John 20:31; Titus 3:5). A gift
is simply taken.
The Gospel Must Be Preached to All the World Before Christ Returns!
I was reading Matthew Chapter 24 today, which speaks of the End Times. Jesus' disciples asked Him when the world will end (Matthew 24:3) and Jesus answered their question throughout the Chapter. Jesus foretold of pestilence, earthquakes and famine. Jesus said that many deceivers, false Christs, and false prophets will arise and DECEIVE MANY. Jesus said that people would intensely hate and betray one another...
Matthew 24:8-10, “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
We are already witnessing these things today; but we know we're not in the Tribulation Period yet because the Rapture has not taken place yet.
2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8 are difficult to interpret and are; therefore, open to speculation as to what is meant. I personally believe that these Scriptures are speaking about the Holy Spirit of God that indwells every believer (the Church), which must be removed from the world before the Antichrist will be revealed. Christians have always been Satan's major obstacle, which if taken out of the way will give the Devil no opposition.
