It's The Blood Of Jesus!

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” —1st Peter 1:18-19

We don't hear enough these days about the precious blood of Jesus, “...and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1st John 1:7). What a wonderful Savior! Jesus paid a debt of sin that He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin that we could not pay. Our sins had to be paid for with Jesus' blood.

In the Old Testament, the people's sins were only ATONED (i.e., covered) for. Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” This Scripture speaks of the blood of animals, which were sacrificed to temporarily cover the sins of the people in the Old Testament, until the Messiah would come and offer the perfect Sacrifice of Himself to God the Father.

We read in Hebrews 9:12 concerning Jesus, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Jesus' blood didn't atone for our sins; but rather, took them away forever!

Jesus' Blood Sacrifice Is All Sufficient

Hebrews 9:24-26, “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now ONCE in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Jesus' blood applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven is all-sufficient.

Jesus only needed to offer Himself as a sacrifice once. This is what is wrong with the Catholic crucifix... they keep Jesus on the cross. In the Catholic mass, participants actually believe they are digesting the literal body and blood of Jesus Christ each time. This is why Mel Gibson's film, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, portrays Jesus being brutally whipped, punched and beaten every step of the way (which no human being could survive). Gibson's movie caters to the Catholic mass, in which they believe Jesus is continually sacrificed again and again. Yet the Bible proclaims that Jesus died ONCE. They call this the doctrine of transubstantiation, which is unscriptural. Jesus is NO longer on the cross.

Also, every crucifix I've ever seen makes Jesus' look decrepit and sickly. Our Lord was a carpenter, and they didn't have power tools back then. Jesus was a strong man, healthy, and not some sissified looking wimp. Catholics have some strange ideas of Christ

Jesus died on the cross, was buried to confirm His death, and then rose miraculously three days later. Christ is alive! Thank the Lord for His mercy, for paying for our many sins with His precious blood.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins.”
—Colossians 1:14

The Blood Does NOT Merely Represent Jesus' Death!

There is a damnable heresy circulating in many of our churches today, popularized by religious liberal, John MacArthur. Moody Publishers sadly prints all of MacArthur's liberal books these days. Moody Ministries has really gone downhill spiritually. Dr. MacArthur teaches that Jesus' liquid blood has no value or significance in and of itself. He claims that Jesus' blood is important only in the sense that it represents the DEATH of Christ. Nothing could be further from the truth!

In MacArthur's Bible commentary, he teaches that Hebrews 9:12 doesn't mean what it says. Hebrews 9:12, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” John MacArthur teaches that the phrase “BY HIS OWN BLOOD” only refers to Jesus' death, and not Christ's literal blood. It is a sinful thing to diminish the literal teachings of the Bible as only being figurative unless the Bible indicates otherwise. For example: In Revelation 1:20 we are told that the mystery of the seven stars are the seven angels, and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches. No where in the Bible are we ever told that the death of Jesus is represented by the blood. Thus, if the Bible teaches in Hebrews 9:12 that Jesus entered into the heavenly holy place BY HIS OWN BLOOD, then we must accept this truth literally. MacArthur is perverting the Scriptures.

When God told Moses to warn the Israelites concerning the coming 10th plague, i.e., the death of the firstborn, the people were instructed to kill a lamb, and then APPLY the lamb's blood to the side and upper doorposts of the home. John MacArthur likely learned his heresies from Robert B. Thieme Jr. and John MacArthur Exodus 12:23, “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” Did you read that ... WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD!!!

...WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD!!!

R.B. Thieme Jr. and John MacArthur Jr. are fools to diminish the importance of the literal, physical, blood of Jesus Christ. MacArthur has tried to defend himself by saying that he loves the blood of Jesus and upholds it's importance; but he plainly maintains that the blood is only important and precious in that it REPRESENTS THE DEATH of Christ. MacArthur clearly denies the efficacy (power) of Christ's literal, physical, blood.

Carefully notice that the Lord wasn't looking for the dead lamb. Rather, the blood had to be APPLIED. Also, please read, The Importance of the Blood. John MacArthur is an unsaved liberal. Hebrews 10:29, “Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”

The blood is very important. The Bible is very plain that Jesus entered into the heavenly holy place after He arose from the dead. Jesus ascended into Heaven with His blood. The blood had to be applied. Hebrews 9:12, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Shame on these fake Bible scholars who trample upon the blood. MacArthur is wrong, wrong, wrong to say that Jesus' blood is precious to him when in reality he only sees Christ's blood as symbolic of His death. What a sham! I'm sad and surprised that Moody Ministries actually promotes this wicked man. MacArthur is wrong about the blood and he's wrong about the way of salvation.

R.B. Thieme, Jr. and John MacArthur... Heretics!

It's All About the Blood of Jesus!

From the blood of Abel's slain lamb in Genesis, to the robes of the saints washed in the blood of the Lamb in Revelation, the Word of God centers around the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9:22, “...without shedding of blood is no remission.” Jesus' death was just as important as His blood sacrifice, and equally important the burial and resurrection; BUT everything concerning the events of Jesus' life were leading up to the blood being applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven.

Hebrews 9:24-26 state, “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us...” (that is, God the Father). Jesus took His shed blood to Heaven to present unto the Father, by applying it to the Mercy Seat. This is why Jesus said to Mary in John 20:17, ”Jesus saith unto her, TOUCH ME NOT; for I am not yet ascended to my Father...” The blood couldn't be tainted.

The NIV Perverts the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ!

I watched a film on the GOSPEL OF JOHN, which is based upon the New International Version [NIV]. I almost fell out of my chair when Mary Magdalene grabbed Jesus' hand after He rose from the dead and appeared to her outside of His tomb. The NIV horribly corrupts the Scriptures, which reads:

“Jesus said, 'Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.'”

Do not hold on to me? That's not what the inspired King James Bible says! The King James Bible reads:

“Jesus saith unto her, TOUCH ME NOT; for I am not yet ascended to my Father...

The NIV is of the Devil. Jesus needed to apply His blood in Heaven, just as the Old Testament highpriest did every year in the holy of holies in the tabernacle. If Mary had touched Jesus, she would have corrupted the blood. The NIV is ridiculous, as if Jesus could not ascend into Heaven because Mary was holding on to him. That's not what John 20:17 means at all. Jesus had risen from the dead and needed to appear before the Father in Heaven as Hebrews 9:24 teaches; and Jesus needed to apply His blood in the Holy Place as Hebrews 9:12 teaches.

So don't let any modernist, nor false prophet, minimize the importance of Jesus' blood. There could be NO forgiveness of sins if it weren't for Christ's blood sacrifice. Curse the NIV! If you use the NIV, you will be spiritually retarded.

Seventh-Day-Adventists Pervert the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ!

Seventh Day Adventists pervert the blood of Christ by claiming that Jesus' sacrifice wasn't enough, and that Christ is still in the process of completing His work of redemption (SDA's call this heresy, Investigative Judgment).

They call this heresy "investigative judgment," i.e., they claim that Jesus investigates our individual lives to decide whether we are “worthy” to enter Heaven or not. I ask you... is any sinful human being “worthy” of heaven? Does not Romans 3:23 declare that we ALL HAVE SINNED? Yes, it most certain does! There is NO ONE worthy to enter Heaven, which is exactly WHY we needed Jesus to shed His blood for our sins, because we could not save ourselves.

We all deserve Hellfire, nothing better. But thanks be to God for sending His only begotten Son into the world to pay for our sins. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The reason WHY we are to trust Christ alone for salvation is because of the blood that He shed for our sins. ONLY Jesus has the nail-scared hands and feet! No one else! Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12; John 14:6) because God's blood was shed upon the cross... “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood" (Acts 20:28). The blood that flowed from Jesus' veins was not the sinful, tainted, blood of Adam; NO, rather, it was the blood of God the Father.

Seventh Day Adventism is a heathen, Satanic, and doctrinally rotten cult. They teach doctrines of devils.

The LITERAL Blood of Jesus Had to be Applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven

The great Bible teacher, M.R. DeHaan, M.D. (pictured below), has it 100% correct when he states concerning the blood of Jesus...

The blood was to be sprinkled, remember, on the mercy seat right after the death of the substitutionary animal of sacrifice, Now Christ is, of course, our substitute.  He was slain for us upon the Cross, and entered into death for us, and when He arose, He immediately went to heaven, entered into the holy of holies in heaven, sprinkled His precious blood upon the mercy seat before the throne of God, and forever settled the sin questions, and delivered us from the curse of the law. This is clearly taught in the New testament. Hebrews 9:12 is very definite on this:

"But by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."

The Bible also makes plain when He accomplished this. On the morning of the resurrection He meets Mary at the tomb. As soon as Mary recognized Him, she prostrated herself upon Him, and would have kissed His feet, but with shocking suddenness, Jesus emphatically says to her: "Touch me not"; and then He proceeds immediately to give the reason why Mary is not permitted to touch Him at all.

"For I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." (John 20:17)

Literally the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Touch me not; for I now am about to ascend unto my Father."  We can understand this action when we remember the the high priest after he had offered the sacrifice, was to enter the holy of holies, before he did anything else, with the precious blood. No one was allowed to approach him. Everyone was shut out until this was completely done. And here in the record of the meeting with Mary we have the fulfillment of this type. Here Mary meets her great High Priest, just arisen from the tomb, but before He had entered the holy of holies with the reconciling blood. And so He says to her, "TOUCH ME NOT."

What a wonderful truth! The Bible is so clear when you accept it as it's written. The best way to interpret the Bible is to not interpret it. By diligently cross-referring Scripture with Scripture, we are able to form a complete and accurate picture of divine Truth. Thank God for the precious redeeming literal blood of Christ Jesus!

“But BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
—Hebrews 9:12

The Death of the Passover Lamb Was NOT Enough

When the Lord was going to pass over Egypt and destroy the firstborn, he said to Moses and Aaron in Exodus 12:13...

"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt."

The death of the lamb wasn't enough, the blood had to be applied Mr. MacArthur. God wasn't looking for a dead lamb in the backyard; No, rather, God was looking for the APPLIED BLOOD on the doorposts and lintel (doorplate) above the door. The blood had to be applied. John MacArthur's entire ministry is flawed, and he is a false prophet, simply because he is WRONG on the most important Christian doctrine of all—Jesus precious literal liquid blood! No genuinely saved person would ever deny the redemptive power of Jesus' physical blood!

“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” —Hebrews 9:12

If the Old Testament high priest killed the lamb and went home, the sins of the people were not atoned for. The lamb's blood had to be carried by a bowl into the holy of holies and applied to the mercy seat (which rested upon the Ark of the Covenant).

Here are the eloquent words of Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001) concerning the importance of the blood being applied...

In the Old Testament, the High Priest killed two goats on the Day of Atonement. The blood of one goat was taken by the High Priest into the Holy Place to the Ark of the Covenant. On the top of the Ark of the Covenant was the Mercy Seat. Over that Mercy Seat were two cherubims beaten out of pure gold. Between the wings of those cherubims was the Glory of God. The blood from the goat that was sacrificed was applied to the proper place which was the Mercy Seat. If the blood did not get to the Mercy Seat, then it was the proper price, but not paid to the proper place. It would have been no more valid than that check written but not paid to the creditor.

If the blood of Jesus was left on the ground at the cross, that means it did not get to the Holy Place and is not valid. "What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." It is not just the blood shed, but also the blood applied.

God told Moses to instruct the people to apply the blood of the lamb at the Passover. When He passed over and saw the blood of that lamb, He would withhold His judgment. God did not judge them based on His omniscience. He made a point of letting them know that He would not judge them only when He saw the blood. It was not enough that the blood was shed. The blood had to be properly applied.
