For Those Who are Mad at the Truth

...strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. (II Timothy 2:14)

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker... (II Timothy 2:16-17)

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. (II Timothy 2:23)

(I want to preface this section by saying that we've received a lot of encouragement and honest questions via e-mail. This section is not for these people.)

I receive a number of hot e-mails in response to this site. Perhaps you are angry about what you've read here. If so, this is for you. If you e-mail me in anger, I will kindly refer you back here or to one of my other articles such as, This is NOT a Hate Site or It Pains Me. I will not get into e-mail battles because they will not profit either of us.

I'm confident that your comments fall into one of the following categories:

You say: You misquote the Bible

I say: Prove it by showing me from the Bible

You say: Hell ain't real

I say: Then why are you so upset and angry? If you REALLY believed hell isn't real, then what I've said would be of no consequence to you. This is not the case however because you KNOW God is real and you KNOW hell is real. You are fighting a very real fear and that's why you're angry. You are scared to die and you are well justified in that fear. Jesus Christ is your only hope.

You say: You believe the Bible

I say: Yes, I believe the WHOLE Bible. It is God's word. If you want to challenge the validity of something I said, come from the Bible, not extra-biblical texts or your human mind.
I also say: You believe something too e.g., science textbook, newspaper, teachers (All are imperfect, changeable and fickle. The Bible is perfect, everlasting).

You say: You speak against my religion

I say: None but Jesus Christ can save. The following e-mail was exchanged with a Buddhist, but you can put your false religion and its doctrines in the appropriate places and you will have your response from me.

They wrote: I am Buddhist, and according to my beliefs, you are going to hell for condemning me... what do you think of that?

I wrote: Not much because I know the truth. The scrolls that you chant to cannot save. Most Buddhists claim to not even believe in God much less hell. The worship of false gods cannot be compared to walking hand in hand with the Creator of this universe.

May you come to know Jesus Christ personally. He's the one Who bore your sins. He didn't come to condemn you, He came to save you and without Him you haven't a chance. Turn while there's time, when death takes you (and it will), you'll want Him to be your own. You'll also have a peace that surpasses all understanding as you walk this earth.

There's no reason to be upset with me, I am a person that has told you the Truth. Praying for you,

Tracy (www.Jesus-is-Lord.com)

You say: There is no God.

I say: He is real and you know it (see Romans 1).

You say: You're intolerant.

I say: The truth is intolerant. 2+2 always equals 4 regardless of whether you want it to equal 5 or 6. Jesus Christ is the only way to God and there's no other way.

John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You say: Many people have been killed in the name of Christianity

I say: Not everybody that says they're a Christian is one. Jesus says we are to be harmless as doves. If people who claim to be Christians slaughter others, it is clear to see that they are not Christians at all.

You say: The Bible has contradictions.

I say: No it doesn't, but I won't argue with you.

You say: You're misguided.

I say: I'm not, but I won't argue with you.
