Lordship Salvation Cult

By David J. Stewart | February 16, 2021

Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

A cult is a group that teaches contrary to sound doctrine in the Bible. Lordship Salvation is a cult today that denies salvation by free grace alone through faith alone.

One of the biggest deadly religious cults in America today is Dr. John MacArthur and his circus of Lordship Salvation followers worldwide. Bob Jones University is one of his most loyal adherents, including Dr. Steve Pettit (president of BJU since 2014). Dr. Pettit is an ungodly man, preaching a Calvinist perverse plan of salvation that denies being able to claim an instantaneous new birth. Please read the preceding article that I have provided a link to.

Bob Jones University is a sad institution today, pulling on the same rope as the Devil with their Seventh-Day Adventist gospel of Lordship Salvation. Neither Bob Jones University or the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam honor the Lord Jesus Christ. They send men to Hell with counterfeit Bible versions. They send men to Hell with their Calvinist gospel of partial faith plus works. Oh how wicked these people are! Yet, my words have fallen upon deaf ears since 2014 when I began exposing them as a cult.

Pastor Marty Herron is a wicked man, who ruined the Harvest Baptist Church of Guam with his Lordship Salvation, dozens of Devil's Bible perversions, and bidding Godspeed to John MacArthur. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” The Bob Jones crowd's days are numbered. You won't get away with promoting corruptible seed. You won't get away with preaching another gospel. You won't get away with bidding Godspeed to false teachers. And I am going to be there when God makes you regret ever being born!

Gary Walton is the incompetent pastor of Harvest Baptist Church today. These men are immature, and have no business standing behind any pulpit. They are corrupt in their doctrine. Birds of a feather flock together. You've got a bunch of ungodly religious phonies and brats at Harvest, part of their shameful social club. Walton is just more reprobate silver as Jeremiah spoke of, fake! Jeremiah 6:30, “Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.” If you think it is not a Christlike spirit to call heretics by name and harshly rebuke them, then you're a Bible ignoramus! Titus 1:13, “This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;”

Humbly, I have been rebuking Harvest Baptist Church harshly since 2014, when they forced me out for befriending them with THE TRUTH, but they are subverted of themselves, refusing to heed THE TRUTH. Bob Jones University has much blood on their hands. Just like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists and Roman Catholics, so also does the Lordship Salvation crowd wrong define repentance to mean “turn away from your sins.”

The Bible teaches something very different. In the Bible the word “repent” simply means “a change of mind.” The way you repent is by believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I hear idiot preachers misrepresenting Dr. John R. Rice on repentance, claiming that he taught you must turn from sinful behavior to be saved. Here is in fact what Dr. Rice actually believed:

There are those hyper-dispensationalists who think that John the Baptist preached a different Gospel from Christ when he commanded repentance (Matt. 3:2). But it is the same repentance Jesus commanded in Matthew 4:17, in Luke 13:3 and 5, and the same repentance that Paul preached in Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30 31). Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus Christ. A change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.

Clearly, Dr. Rice believed that a person who turns to Jesus Christ by faith is saved, and nothing more is required of them.

Beware of the leaven of Harvest Baptist Church cult on Guam! Beware of the leaven of Bob Jones graduates everywhere today, who bid Godspeed to their damnable home college's acceptable of Lordship Salvation, devil-dog preacher John MacArthur and dozens of perverse Bible trashlations! Judgement day is coming for all you false prophets! Those liars will pay the Pied Piper! Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
