Some people believe that Jesus was a only prophet. Others believe He was just a good man. Some people believe that He was a fraud, a hoax. But the Word of God proclaims Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. We read in John 3:16-18...

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Jesus is the Savior (spelled 'Saviour' in Old English). 1st Timothy 1:15 tells us that Jesus came into this sinful world save sinners...

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."

The Apostle Paul felt that he was the biggest sinner in town, as every Christian who walks with God should feel. As we search the Scriptures, and God's holiness is increasingly revealed through His Word, our sinfulness and human weaknesses are magnified and; thus, our need for God's help in our life is fully realized. God wants to live the Christian life through us, if we will yield to His Holy Spirit by obeying the Bible.

Thank God for the Savior's precious blood which He shed for our sins (1st Peter 1:18,19). Whom do you say Jesus is: Liar, Lunatic, or Lord?
