Warning About JackHyles.com
By David J. Stewart | September 2006
I don't like to write articles like this; but I am compelled to do so, in this case for Brother Hyles' sake. I will defend my friend and mentor. Dr. Jack Hyles was without a doubt the greatest preacher of the 20th century. I was greatly saddened as I looked over JackHyles.com to see God's man exploited. Brother Hyles' name is being used to make money from advertising. It's just unethical and wrong in my opinion. In addition, the website is promoting several demonic websites which I KNOW Pastor Hyles would have been upset over. Regardless of who's paying for the ads, they are appearing on JackHyles.com. Here is the letter which I sent to the administrator of the website TWICE; but as of yet have received no response:
Hi Brother ********,
I was looking at www.jackhyles.com com today and almost fell out of my chair. You're promoting a website that teaches that sin doesn't bring eternal punishment. I read your standards section for your ads, so I'm assuming you didn't know about these websites--I thought I'd send you an e-mail to inform you. Here's what the heretical website teaches ... from your link, "IS THERE A HELL?":"Having demonstrated that neither the Bible nor reason offers the slightest support to the doctrine that eternal torment is the penalty for sin, we note the fact that the various church creeds, and confessions, and hymn-books, and theological treatises, are its only supports; and that under the increasing light of our day, and the consequent emancipation of reason, belief in this horrible, fiendish doctrine of the "dark ages" is fast dying out."

You're also promoting the damnable Lutheran religion which teaches baptismal regeneration and the sacraments.
Martin Luther clearly believed in baptismal regeneration...
Luther said ..."What does Baptism give or profit?--Answer.
It works forgiveness of sins, delivers from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this..."SOURCE: http://www.bookofconcord.org/smallcatechism.html#baptism
Your website promotes the Elim Lutheran Church
--------------------
The following website quotes from the NIV. I clicked on one of the links ("Church Resources") on your web and John 3:16 came up missing the word "begotten," because the NIV removed it.

You also promote ChristianityToday which endorses Harry Potter...
You link to this page...

Here's CT's page promoting Harry Potter...

---------------------------------------
You also promote a health, wealth, and prosperity Gospel website at...
http://www.outrageousmastery.com/faith.htm (Link: Mountain-Moving Faith)
They advertise ...
"Are you ready to learn:
• How to acquire doubt-free & powerful faith
• How to create money
• How to blast through limitations, fear and worry
• How to heal illnesses
• How to hear answers to prayer
• How to pray effectively
• How to create daily miracles
• How to create outrageous love in your life
Simply enter your name and email address below to begin your journey to acquire the formula for powerful faith in your life."
That's the same covetousness that the demonic televangelists are using to make merchandise of people (2nd Peter 2:1-3).
---------------------You also promote http://www.accdatbooks.com/message.htm through your link, THE TRUTH ABOUT THE RAPTURE. The website states...
"THE LORD has told me that the number of them that are taken in the first RAPTURE, the Rapture of the Church, is very small, and scripture calls this group "The BRIDE of CHRIST". It consists of only 800,000 adults and 9,600,000 children."
This is utter heresy. No one knows how many people are saved, i.e., who will be Raptured.
---------------------
You also promote a Catholic ministry, Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a group of 4,500 Roman Catholic priests, which promotes Mary worship..."As a faith-based organization, we turn to Our Blessed Mother and strive to follow her example of doing God’s will."

When Dr. Hyles name is typed into a search engine, your website comes up first. It's just my opinion, but I think Dr. Hyles name needs to be protected as much as possible. I KNOW, having spent 8-years at Hyles Anderson college myself, that Dr. Hyles would throw a fit if he knew his name was being associated with such demonic ministries. I ask you humbly, and as your fellow servant in Christ, to consider removing these liberal advertisements from your website.
It only costs $60 a year to host a website with 300 GB of bandwidth. I will never promote any liberal ministry for any reason. I trust you weren't aware of the matter. If your website is sponsored by someone else, you can get your own hosting package for $60 a year as I mentioned. In fact, you can get free web hosting that has better advertisements than the one's your promoting. I say this kindly.
I'm not trying to be unkind, I just hate to see Brother Hyle's name on the first website that comes up being associated with liberal ministries that he spent his whole life exposing. I believe that we should freely promote those websites which are contending for the faith, and refuse to sponsor the modernist liberals, no matter how much money they pay us. I've turned down dozens upon dozens of requests from ministries who wanted me to promote them because they were money-driven or doctrinally flawed. I just denied a link request from a very nice Christian website that provides free photos of Israel. I refused the website because they have a link to an external website that proclaims Jesus is not God. I mean, 'com on. The webmaster wrote me back and said he had no control over his advertisers. Well, he does, and so do you. You won't find any of that garbage on my website. I think we have a duty to Brother Hyles to rise above the greedy world and do what we do without any mention of money, credit cards, or selling things, let alone promoting heresy. I greatly appreciate you promoting Dr. Hyles books; but please consider what I am saying.
Kindest regard,
David J. StewartEND
As Christians, we are supposed to contend for the faith. Sometimes this means even taking a stand against a fellow brother in Christ who is going astray. I just don't understand some believers. Pastor Hyles NEVER would have wanted to have his name associated with heathendom--so why do it? As Brother Hyles always taught, it's never right to do wrong in order to get a chance to do right. Dr. Joe Boyd was a lifetime friend of Brother Hyles, why not promote his website? Why not promote the Sword of the Lord's website, or Dr. Oliver B. Greene's website? Why not promote the Christian Law Association, or Dr. Tom William's website? Why promote a Catholic ministry of 4,500 priests who worship Mary? Why promote a Charismatic website that teaches a health, wealth, and prosperity Gospel? Why promote a website which teaches that Hell has no fire? Why? The only answer is sinful covetousness.
It's time for believers to become Christ-like once again. The hallmark quality of a mature Christian is CARING. A Christian who cares knows that LITTLE THINGS ARE IMPORTANT. A believer who is close to the Lord makes a big deal over doctrine. A believer who is close to the Lord makes a big deal over separation. A believer who is close to the Lord makes a big deal over soulwinning. A believer who is close to the Lord makes a big deal over the King James Bible. When a believer ceases to care about little things, the infection of apostasy has set in. Left untreated, the patient will lapse into a spiritual coma. I remember Pastor Hyles saying that the way to keep Hyles-Anderson College from going liberal is to have a mean old man walking around the college, standing guard against the Devil trying to creep in. How right he is. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link--the Devil is always trying to creep his way into our homes, schools, and churches. What the Brother at JackHyles.com is doing is leaving the door wide open for the Devil to come in. Get upset at me if you want--Pastor Hyle's name shouldn't be exploited to make money, nor should his name be used to promote Satanic websites that praise Mary and teach that Hell is a "fiendish doctrine of the Dark Ages."
Say what you will, I love Pastor Hyles and will defend his name. It's wonderful for a Christian to promote Dr. Hyles books; but let us be RESPECTFUL of Dr. Hyles to protect his name from being associated with false doctrines and false religions.
In Jesus' name,
David J. Stewart
