Yes, I believe so. We are definitely living in the "last days" as the Bible
says so in Hebrews 1:2a, "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his
Son..." But we are also now living in the end times, as evidenced by
Nebuchadnezzar's image interpreted through Daniel. The head of gold was king
Nebuchadnezzar. And then each succeeding kingdom was inferior, shown by the
lesser value metal. The brutal Roman Empire is represented by the legs of
iron. And now, in these end times, we are living in the times of the feet and
toes of mixed clay and iron, partly strong and partly weak. This represents
the now forming world government (aka, a New World Order), yet there is no
dominating world power as see in the time of Rome. We have numerous super
powers today (U.S. Russia, Israel, France, China, India). These nations all
have nuclear weapons.
I firmly believe in a pretribulation Rapture, for several reasons. Although the Bible does not clearly teach this doctrine, it is the only view that is logical and fits the Scriptures. A prewrath view has many problems with it. I personally believe that the rapture of the church is near. I can say with 100% certainty that the rapture is one day nearer today than it was yesterday, and that is always a happy thought.
President Trump just moved the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That is significant I think, since the Antichrist is coming to Jerusalem, to stand in the future rebuilt temple and proclaim to be God (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-12). I believe the 911 attacks in 2001, and the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, and the false-flag Sandy Hook shooting in 2012 (no children died) were all the "lying wonders" mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians 2:9, "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders." The Devil is a liar, and the father of all liars and murderers (John 8:44).
So when I step back and look at the big picture, with what I know about the New World Order, and Bible prophecy, I personally believe that the rapture will happen within the next 50 years. That is not Bible, that is my speculation. Biblically, Jesus could come right now. God lets us have a right to our opinion. It is just my personal feelings that the Lord won't return as long as souls are being saved (2nd Peter 3:9). When the United States crumbles, I think the Lord will return, because then the Gospel will be greatly hindered. Even now, churches are dying across America. Church membership is at an all-time low.
We read in Matthew 24 about events during the 7-year Tribulation. The book of Revelation, chapter 18, I believe describes the doom of the United States. I don't see how any other nation could fit that description, a nation who made the "merchants" of the world rich (all the imports from China and India, et cetera). We have extravagances galore and the best of wines, cheeses and foods in America. We are spoiled rotten, and our love for sin as a nation reaches unto to Heaven. Just as God heard Abel's cry from the ground, and He heard the cry coming out of Sodom, God hears the cry of the victims of illegal drugs, sex perversion and abortion in America. The Bible says modern Babylon will be destroyed by "fire" in just one hour. I firmly believe that can only mean a massive nuclear attack against every major American city. All trucks will stop. All industry will stop. Everything will suddenly cease. New York will be gone! Miami will be gone! Chicago will be gone! We will be hurled back into the dark-ages in just one hour. This is speculation, again, just my opinion. It is common knowledge that Russia is missing hundreds of nuclear devices! There are renegade nukes all over the place.
