Bible Numerics

The spiritual significance of numbers is evident throughout the Word of God. According to evangelist Ed. F. Vallowe, “One out of every five Scriptures in the Bible contains a number. Numbers are important to having a working knowledge of the Bible” (Ed F. Vallowe, Keys to Scripture Numerics).

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred three score and six” (Rev. 13:18).

“He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names, Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite” (Psalm 147:4-5).

“To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? Saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by numbers; He calleth them all by names, by the greatness of His might.”

“The very hairs of your head are all numbered” (Matthew 10:30).
