Hath God Said?

By David J. Stewart

Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

The Devil came to Eve in the Garden of Eden. The serpent was subtle. He caused Eve to question God's Word. That's the first step downward when you start to doubt and question God's Word. Listen to what Jesus said in Luke 24:25, “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.” God incarnate called anyone a fool who is slow to believe the inspired Holy Bible.

All of these new modern English Bible revisions are of the Devil. Just as the serpent's word conflicted with God's Word, causing Eve to have to choose between Satan's seed and God's seed; likewise the Devil has published literally hundreds of conflicting Bible revisions that compete with the inspired King James Bible.

Hath God said? Those words sound so innocent, but they brought about the fall of the human race. If God said it, that settles it, regardless of whether you believe it or not. Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Unchristlike Christians hate conflict more than they hate evil.
