Proverb
14:12, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end
thereof are the ways of death.”
The Word of God teaches that there is a way which SEEMETH RIGHT
unto a man, but the end thereof are the way of death. The Bible teaches in
Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately
wicked: who can know it?” Man's heart is deceitful above all else. This
is what the Bible teaches.
Franz Reichelt (1879-1912) thought he had invented a way to fly. He
modified an overcoat into a set of wings. Franz Reichelt was so confident
that his contraption would work that he climbed up 187 feet on the Eiffel
Tower and jumped off...
According to
Le Figaro,
he was calm and smiling just before he jumped. His
parachute, which had seemed to be only half-open, folded
around him almost immediately and he plummeted for a few
seconds before crashing into the frozen soil at the foot of
the tower. His canopy appeared to billow out at the last
moment, but by that time it was too late for it to deploy
fully or to break his fall.
Le Petit Parisien
reported that his right leg and arm were crushed, his skull
and spine broken, and that he was bleeding from his mouth,
nose and ears. Le Figaro noted that his eyes were
wide open, dilated with terror. He was already dead by the
time the onlookers rushed to his body, but he was taken to
the Necker hospital where he was officially pronounced dead,
and then on to a police station in the rue Amelie before
being returned to his home in rue Gaillon.

As you've just read, Franz
Reichelt crashed down to his death.
What a foolish thing to do. He was very sincere, but sincerely wrong...
DEADLY WRONG! Reichelt's fall left a 15mm deep imprint in the ground.

I saw this video and immediately
thought of Proverb 14:12, “There is a way which seemeth right unto
a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Franz Reichelt was so
convinced of his invention. He was sincere. He really thought it would allow
him to fly like a bird. But reality is very different than what a man often
thinks. Franz Reichelt jumped to a horrible and needless death at age 32. So
sad!
So many people today are
comfortable in their false religion. 1st Timothy 4:1-2, “Now the Spirit
speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the
faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking
lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
Notice carefully that the Bible calls these “doctrines of devils” (demons).
The Bible says that their
conscience is “seared with a hot iron.” In ancient times when a soldier was
injured on the battlefield, a hot sword was laid across the wound to cleanse
and seal the wound. The area where the wound was seared became numb,
calloused and without sensation from a thick scab that formed over the
wound. This is what the Bible says happens to the conscience of false
prophets. Their soul is calloused. There is a false way that seems right
unto them, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
There is only one way to eternal
life and that is through faith in the Lamb of God, Jesus, the Christ. If
you're a member of a so-called “church” that adds water baptism, sacraments,
amending one's ways, making a commitment to Jesus, surrendering one's life
to Christ or joining a religious denomination in order to get to Heaven...
then you are in a demonic cult!!! The Biblical gospel is that Jesus died,
was buried and rose again (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). We are all guilty
sinners for violating God's Laws (Romans 3:19). Jesus paid for our sins with
His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). If you trust what Christ did for
you, as payment for your sins, then you are saved. John 20:31, “But these
are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God;
and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
If you are a Roman Catholic, then
you are just like Franz Reichelt, about to enter into eternity and plunge
down into the depths of Hell in your faulty religion. If you are following
Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventism, Lutheranism or the Church of Christ, then
you are ready to jump to your eternal doom in the Lake of Fire. So many
people are hellbound in their false religion, adhering to doctrines of
demons. The Bible tells us the truth (John 17:17). Jesus told us to
SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (John 5:39)! Psalms 118:8, “It is better to
trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
I am amazed that you can show
somebody the truth, yet they don't care. You can show them that the Devil is
behind their religious denomination, yet it doesn't matter to them. They are
loyal to their religious leaders and nothing you say can convert them to
Christianity. Jesus had the same problem with the Jewish Pharisees in Mark
7:8-9,13...
Mark 7:8-9 and 13, “For laying aside
the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of
pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto
them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your
own tradition. ... Making the word of God of none effect through your
tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
