Please Give Me Your Heart...

Please give me your heart.  This is perhaps the most important article you will read on this website, simply because it reveals my heart and intent behind this website.  It is unfortunately quite easy for a visitor to get the wrong idea that I am a hateful person against everything.  I honestly do NOT hate anybody.  I really do love people and simply have a desire to help them, hence this website.  Once in awhile I receive an e-mail from someone telling me that "love" reaches more people than "hate."  I couldn't agree more, but what they're referring to is not love...it is cowardliness and compromise.  They want Christians like me who love the Lord to stop speaking out against the evils of our day.  Sometimes "love" requires us to take a stand and exercise some "tough love."  Yes, love induces kindness and compassion, but it also induces sternness and uncompromised rebuke or warning when necessary.

Jesus didn't use sweet words to show Peter the error in his thinking, instead Jesus sharply rebuked Peter by saying, "Get thee behind me Satan."  Jesus scathed the unsaved Pharisees with the harshest words of all, calling them "whited sepulchres filled with dead men's bones."  The Apostle Paul was not very diplomatic with Simon the sorcerer either when he told him to "perish" with his money.  In 1st Corinthians 16:22, the Apostle Paul eloquently said, "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha."  "Anathema" meaning "cursed," and "Maranatha" meaning "the Lord is coming."  LET HIM BE CURSED, JESUS IS COMING!  Does this sound like the words of the greatest missionary who ever lived?  It certainly is!  Somehow people have accepted the crazy idea that love never rebukes or exposes anything.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  A loving friend will tell you the truth if it's something that you need to know.

So why do people get upset?  The Bible gives us the bottom line to the whole matter...

"An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked." -Proverb 29:27

The righteous and unrighteous will NEVER happily co-exist.  This is Biblical.  I am just as upset with the wicked as they are with me.  Late Beatle's member John Lennon had a vision of a peaceful world without countries or religion (nothing to fight over).  This is a popular attitude throughout the world today.  It sounds good to me too.  Unfortunately, it will never happen.  It sounds great in theory but it does not take into account the sin-nature and wickedness of humanity.  We are prone to evil and wrong doing.  All the education in the world won't rid the world of lust, greed and hate.  The truth is that we are sinners in need of repentance.   We must turn to God for forgiveness.

It is only because I love God and people that I proclaim the truth.  I'll never stop proclaiming the truth!  I do in fact "love" people.  The problem is that people have different perspectives on what "love" and "hate" mean.  What may appear to be "hate" at the moment may in fact be love.  For example: A parent scolds their child for playing near the street.  The child may feel that the parent hates them at the time, but it certainly is not any form of hatred.  It is in fact love.

Sometimes we might not tell someone something that would hurt them because we love them and sincerely don't believe that they need to know.  At other times we may tell someone something that needs to be said because we love them and believe that they should know.  The latter is true concerning this website.  There is much I believe people need to know that wicked people are hiding from the public.  I want to share with you the truth about many things.  This is love.  My heart longs for you to know the truth and for your life to be changed for God.

What you do with the truth is your decision, I can only point you in the direction that I believe is correct.  So many people are woefully ignorant about the truth (some sincerely, others by choice).   I ask you to take this website to heart, for that is where it came from (from my heart).  By the way, an open mind is not going to do you much good if your heart is not tender towards God.  It has been said, "The same sun that melts the wax hardens the clay."  Is your heart wax towards God?  Can God speak to your heart?  Some people have hearts as hard as stone.  If that is you, I still love you, but my site will not help you much.  You may not agree with my methods or style, but you cannot deny that I am trying to reach out to you.  I am your friend.  I ask for no money, just give God a chance.  You don't need me, you need God (and He's a wonderful God).

I ask you to keep an open heart towards God as you visit my website, this is my sincere prayer.  I pray that God would speak to your heart as my website speaks to your mind.  Thank you for reading this and please feel welcome to e-mail me.
