It's Not “Billy's Sunday”

Evidently some people don't know who Billy Sunday, the great man of God (1862-1935) was. In Frank Sinatra's morally reprehensible song, Chicago, Sinatra mocks God by slandering Billy Sunday. Sinatra sings ... "In Chicago, Chicago The town that Billy Sunday could not shut down." Some people think the lyrics say "Billy's Sunday," I even found some lyrics which read "Hilly Sunday." No, it's supposed to be Billy Sunday.
In sharp contrast to God's man, Billy Sunday; Frank Sinatra was a singing fool, a supporter of the booze industry, a friend of mobsters, and a vile whoremonger! Frank Sinatra was an ungodly heathen!
In fact, Sinatra is featured in Crime Magazine because of his extensive involvement with organized criminals. Sinatra was a swine. Just as many fraudulent imposters today, Sinatra dared to sing Gospel music while living for the Devil. In the 1940's, at the beginning of Sinatra's career, he recorded an album titled God's Country. On the album he sings the song, Jesus Is A Rock In The Weary Land. What a phony! By 1974, Sinatra was singing Satisfy Me One More Time, recorded in Hollywood, with these repulsive lyrics...
Make a sex-pot symbol out of little old me,
Caress me, molest me, one more time,
Excuse me and abuse me one more time.
Excite me and ignite me with your sweet torso.
Use your muscles, my corpuscles, wanna go.
Can you imagine listening to these lyrics in your back yard ... and the look on your neighbors face? Would you want your children singing this song in school? Sinatra was a reprobate. God deliver us from Hollywood Christianity and entertainment Christians. The world is becoming churchy because the church is becoming worldly.
According to biographers, Sinatra was addicted to Jack Daniels' whiskey ...
Biographers Reveal Sinatra Was A 'Functioning Alcoholic'
Frank Sinatra was a functioning alcoholic who went cold turkey on his love of booze and cigarettes in the weeks running up to recording sessions to save his voice. The late crooner's biographers, Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swann, have presented evidence they discovered while researching their book “Sinatra: My Life” to alcoholism experts, who have confirmed claims Ol' Blue Eyes was ruled by Jack Daniels. -SOURCE
"Basically, I'm for anything that gets you through the night - be it prayer, tranquilizers or a bottle of Jack Daniels.” -Frank Sinatra
What a contrast from the powerful, uncompromising words of God's man, Billy Sunday...
"I'm the sworn eternal, uncompromising enemy of the liquor traffic. I've drawn the sword in the defense of God, home, wife, children and native land and I will never sheath it until the undertaker pumps me full of embalming fluid, and if my wife is still alive I think I shall call her to my bedside, and say, 'Nell, when I'm dead, you send for the butcher and skin me and have my hide tanned and made into drum heads and hire men go up and down the line and beat those drums and say, 'My husband Billy Sunday still lives and gives the whiskey gang a run for it's money.'" -Billy Sunday
Birds of a Feather Flock Together
We see this same hypocrisy much today in contemporary Christian music (CCM). It was Dolly Parton in 1970 who sang How Great Thou Art on her album, I Believe. In 2004, Dolly Parton sang Stairway To Heaven on her album Live and Well as a tribute to the godless rock-n-roll occult band, Led Zeppelin!
Then there's professed Christian Johnny Cash, who claimed to have been saved at age 12.
Johnny Cash sold his soul to Satan. Recognized worldwide as a "Christian" by unsuspecting believers, Johnny Cash was NO Christian. The album cover to the left is Glenn Danzig's ...notice "DANZIG, Satan's Child and 6:66." The group Danzig, led by Glenn Danzig, is one of the most openly Satanic bands in rock. Glenn Danzig, spewing his hatred for the Lord Jesus Christ, proudly designed a logo for the band—a demon strangling Jesus Christ with blood gushing from Jesus' eyes! One of Danzig's song is "Serpent Jesus, Snakes of Christ." On the inside of their album, "Danzig II - Lucifuge", Glenn Danzig is wearing the demonic upside-down cross, with the words of John 8:44 brazenly above him, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do."
One of Danzig's other logos is a Satanic Pentagram. Johnny Cash's album "American Recordings" contains the song "Thirteen" written by Glenn Danzig. Also, the song "Unchained" from Johnny Cash's album "Unchained" is written by Danzig. Both songs are written by a Satanist. Why would Johnny Cash promote Satan? Johnny Cash is a wolf in Sheep's clothing. One of Danzig's logos is a picture of a demon strangling the Lord Jesus Christ while blood is coming out of Jesus' bulging eyes! This is evil and Johnny Cash committed a horrible sin by promoting Danzig.
Unbelievably, Ted Olsen, online managing director for Christianity Today magazine, actually endorses Johnny Cash ...
"Like Christ, Cash felt no shame or theological dissonance at crying in the face of death. But make no mistake: he never forgot the joy waiting on the other side. Now, on the other side of the river, the Man in Black wears glorious white, reunited with his brother and face-to-face with his Lord." -SOURCE (Johnny Cash's Song of Redemption; Christianity Today, November 2003)
What blasphemy! The entertainment world is filled with such imposters--worldly artists who sell themselves off as so-called "Christians." Tragically, America's churches have gone apostate and are some of their biggest supporters. Christian rock is of the Devil. Listen to what Frank Sinatra said about rock music ...
"Rock 'n' roll smells phony and false. It is sung, played and written, for the most part, by cretinous goons. And, by means of its almost imbecilic reiteration, and sly, lewd and in plain fact, dirty lyrics ... it manages to be the martial music of every side-burned delinquent on the face of the earth." -FRANK SINATRA (SOURCE: quoted in Taboo Tunes: A History of Banned Bands & Censored Songs)
Frank Sinatra has the nerve to talk about rock music, considering his own dirty and adulterous lyrics. Yet, I agree with Sinatra about rock-n-roll ... "Rock 'n' roll smells phony and false." Sadly, Frank Sinatra was as much a part of the problem in society as anyone else. Sinatra's music was adulterous, perverted, worldly, and arrogant.
Frank Sinatra was a Wolf in Sheep's ClothingPhoto to Right: "God's Country" by Frank Sinatra, recorded in the 1940's. Sinatra sang on the album, "Jesus Is A Rock In The Weary Land." Yet, it was Sinatra who later sang the blasphemous lyrics, "Chicago, Chicago The town that Billy Sunday could not shut down." Sinatra was an unsaved heathen, who glamorized sin with his life.
Today, Frank Sinatra is burning in the fires of Hell; while Billy Sunday is walking the street of gold in Heaven. Frank Sinatra never professed any faith in Christ, he lived his life glorifying and living for sin. He died in his sins without the Lord and is burning in Hell this moment. Any good works which he may have done won’t atone for his sins. Frank Sinatra left $200,000,000 to charity after his death.Ezekiel 18:24 is very clear that the man who dies in his self-righteousness won't be rewarded for any good done throughout his life. Any self-righteousness will be forgotten by God the Bible says. Frank Sinatra gets nothing except molten sulfur and eternal torment in the Lake of Fire, because he died in his sins, a fool having partied in sin to his grave. My friend—you cannot earn Heaven, you cannot buy your way into Heaven, you cannot be religious to enter heaven—"Ye Must Be Born Again" (John 3:6). Have you humbled yourself before God and confessed your wretched sinful condition to Him? It’s a choice that only YOU can make. Only through Jesus Christ can any person find peace and salvation with God, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). There is no other way of salvation than through the precious name of Jesus (Acts 4:10-12).Billy Sunday had peace with God and spent his remaining years proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ—Millions were saved!!! Billy Sunday would throw a fit if he were alive today over the sinful condition of society and over the tolerances which people have for the wickedness of our day (no thanks to Frank Sinatra). Sinatra did much to discredit Billy Sunday with one wicked song—Chicago! What an evil thing to mock the preaching of the man of God!!! Woe unto Sinatra.
