In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
"I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty," Bush said. "But I want you to understand, I want your listeners to understand, I don't get to get decide who goes to heaven. The Almighty God decides who goes to heaven and I am on my personal walk," he said.

Folks, Bush is speaking damnable heresy!
NO Christian would ever make such a foolish
statement, claiming that Muslims worship the same God as Christians.
Even a casual reading of the Koran reveals the biasness against Jews and
Christians. What Bush is really saying then is that the god of the fake
Christians is the same god of the fake Muslims. This would make more
sense since Satan is the god of all unsaved people. The true Muslims
worship Allah. The Koran plainly teaches that Allah has NO Son. In
contrast, the Word of God teaches that God does have a Son, Jesus Christ (John
3:16). Furthermore, the Koran denies that Jesus Christ ever died upon
the cross, but that He was kidnapped and another died in His stead. The
Koran accuses Christians of being "polytheists" for their Biblical view of the
Godhead (the Trinity). The Bible proclaims that Jesus Christ is God
Almighty (John 1:1-3,14; John 10:33; 1st Timothy 3:16; Revelation 1:8).
Clearly, Allah and Jesus Christ CANNOT be the SAME GOD!
The Koran and the Bible are Unalterably Opposed to Each Other
Allah is commonly known as the "moon god" going
back to the time of the prophet Muhammad. The Bible teaches that the
Koran is Satanic, an imposter, a fake, an antichrist (1st John 2:22, "Who is a
liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that
denieth the Father and the Son"). The Koran teaches that Christians are
idolaters for not worshipping Allah only. The Koran teaches it's
followers to "slay" the idolaters wherever they may be found in the land.
As you can see, there is NO mutual agreement between the Koran and the Bible.
The only harmony which can exist is a total abandonment of one's faith, which
is exactly what the New Age movement is all about. George W. Bush
revealed himself as a New Ager when he said, "We have different routes of
getting to the Almighty." This is the main teaching of the New Age
movement...just follow the light and you'll get to Heaven. But the Bible
warns us that there is a FALSE light which is extremely dangerous, "And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light" -2nd
Corinthians 11:14. The light of the New Age movement, all false
religions, and Freemasonry is Satan.
Bush is NO Christian
Bush is an antichrist and a liar according to 1st John 2:22. Bush denies that Jesus is the Saviour (the Christ) by claiming that there are other Saviours in the world. There are NOT different routes to the Almighty Mr. Bush, there is ONLY One, and that is through Jesus Christ, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Mr. Bush deceivingly professes to be a "Christian," but he certainly is NOT. No Christian who is trusting solely upon Jesus Christ for salvation would say that there are many ways to God. Only a fool would say such a thing, an unbeliever. Revelation 21:8 proclaims that all unbelievers will burn some day in the lake of fire. I say this with great sadness. I pray for my nation's leaders regularly as the Bible directs us to, but I also pray that God will bring swift judgment upon the evildoers who afflict the poor and kill the innocent.
It's high time for true Christians in America to start preaching the truth and standing for God. Most of our churches are woefully dead. Most of our preachers can't preach their way out of a paper bag and have no guts. I'd be ashamed of myself if I were the kind of pastor that worries about not offending people to keep the tithes and offerings coming in. We need preachers that are willing to work secular jobs if need be, but by golly...there going to preach the Word of God and the truth about everything! Rise up oh men of God! America's pulpits are dead! Where is the Truth?
