THE EVILS OF WOMEN PREACHERS

By David J. Stewart
Here are some words of warning, likening harmful lodges to WOMEN PREACHERS, from the mighty evangelist and founder of the Sword of the Lord, Dr. John R. Rice...

“The lodges, I know, teach men to subdue their passions, to exercise brotherly love, to help each other in trouble. The lodges have helped some men to live better moral lives, and I have known rare cases in which the lodge ties were used to win souls. Many, many earnest, upright men strive to help themselves and to help others to a higher, nobler life by the lodges. Yet many Scriptures expressly forbid Christians to yoke up with unbelievers in the lodges. And the lodges, I have no doubt, as a general thing, deny the deity of Christ, deny the need for a new birth, and deceive millions of people who think they are saved without being born again. The lodges do good, but they do infinitely more harm.

So it is with women preachers. They do good, but how much harm they do! First, the rise of women preachers has meant the rise of multiplies sects of people with false doctrines of every kind. The Fox sisters and Spiritism, Mrs. White and Seventh Day Adventism, Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, Mrs. Filmore and Unity, Mrs. Aimee Semple McPherson and the so-called 'Foursquare Gospel,' Pentecostalism and its vast majority of women preachers with the blight of sinless perfection doctrine, radical emotionalism, 'speaking in tongues' and trances, its overemphasis on healing that leads thousands to despair after false pretenses of healing—these things surely should warn us that there is infinite harm in women preaching.”

Amen! Women preachers do some good, but the harm they do far outweighs the good. The Bible plainly teaches for women to keep silent in the Church. 1st Timothy 2:12, “But I suffer [allow] not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” The best way to win souls is to obey God, and to do things God's way.

Carter Heyward

Carter Heyward—an Episcopalian priest, a militant feminist, a lesbian who performs same-sex marriages, and a promoter of child sacrifice through abortion, states...

"If women were in charge, abortion would be a sacrament, an occasion of deep and serious and sacred meaning."

Do you see what happens when women enter the pulpit? It was Solomon's wives who turned his heart away from the Lord, and introduced child-sacrifice once again in Israel to the pagan god Molech (1st Kings 11:4-8). All women preachers are false prophets, because 1st Timothy 2:12 expressly forbids women from entering the pulpit.

Time would fail me to mention all the women heretics today who corrupt the Bible, doing much more harm than good.

Joyce Meyer

A lot of women these days are rebellious against authority. They don't want an authoritative God, nor an authoritative Bible, nor an authoritative husband, nor an authoritative pastor. They want to be in charge. If they can't have control, then such women flee in their wickedness, being dead in pleasures as they live. Such rebellious women gravitate toward masculine women such as Joyce Meyer. She has the disposition of a rugged, decisive, rugged man as she preaches.

The Bible foretold if the Last Days when people would not tolerate SOUND DOCTRINE, i.e., THE TRUTH! Rather, they listen to heretics who tickle their ears, telling them what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. 2nd Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” The Bible is so truthful, on the mark, and deadly accurate.

Joyce Meyer is a big phony. It makes God vomit. On Meyer's ministry website, she claims that her mission is to...

“feed the hungry, clothe the poor, minister to the elderly, widows and orphans.”

But in reality, Joyce Meyer's $20,000,000 ministry headquarters is decked out with unbelievably extravagant furnishings valued in the millions. A Jefferson County assessor's list offers a glimpse into the value of many of the items: a $19,000 pair of Dresden vases, six French crystal vases bought for $18,500, an $8,000 Dresden porcelain depicting the Nativity, two $5,800 curio cabinets, a $5,700 porcelain of the Crucifixion, a pair of German porcelain vases bought for $5,200.

The decor includes a $30,000 malachite round table, a $23,000 marble-topped antique commode, a $14,000 custom office bookcase, a $7,000 Stations of the Cross in Dresden porcelain, a $6,300 eagle sculpture on a pedestal, another eagle made of silver bought for $5,000, and numerous paintings purchased for $1,000 to $4,000 each.

Inside Meyer private office suite sit a conference table and 18 chairs bought for $49,000. The woodwork in the offices of Meyer and her husband cost the ministry $44,000.

In all, assessor's records of the ministry's personal property show that nearly $5.7 million worth of furniture, artwork, glassware, and the latest equipment and machinery fill the 158,000-square-foot building. Read more to be disgusted. All that money could feed ALL of the estimated 4,000,000 people starving to death every year in the world. Some claim the number is much higher.

This world is so evil. Did you know that for the price of one military missile, a school full of hungry children could eat lunch every day for 5 years? To satisfy the world's sanitation and food requirements would cost only $13 billion (what the people of the United States and the European Union spend on perfume each year). The assets of the world's three richest men are more than the combined GNP of all the least developed countries on the planet. Joyce Meyer and her staff sure spends a lot of money needlessly.

People are so foolish. Literally, 95% of people follow whoever is leading the way, right or wrong. I visited a Baptist church and the pastor kept quoting apostates Pat Robertson and Rick Warren, because most churchgoers follow the New York Times Best-Seller list and the televangelists on TV. It's the sad truth. Our nation is apostate!

People don't see or hear about Dr. John R. Rice, so they don't read his works. There's not a more accurate and honest Bible scholar than Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980). If you want to read the works of a mighty man of God, then visit the Sword of the Lord website (which Dr. Rice founded in 1934) and get some of Brother Rice's Bible commentaries and books. And please throw Joyce Meyers' garbage into the garbage where it belongs!!!

Most believers have difficulty spiritually discerning Joyce Meyer, because her statement of faith presents the basic Gospel; however, even the demon-possessed woman who followed the Apostles told people that they were preaching the way of salvation (Acts 16:17). Every unsaved Catholic believes that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. As with Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, and other low-life Charismatics, Joyce Meyer is exploiting the Gospel for personal gain.

There are umpteen Scriptures plainly showing what is wrong with Meyer; such as, 2nd Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” Everybody today wants to be told that they're doing just fine in their sins, without hearing anything about eternal Hell, fire or damnation from Meyers. All she talks about are basic topics that tickle people's ears: faith, hope and joy. That's what people want to hear about, just as 2nd Timothy 4:3 warns; but she is not preaching SOUND DOCTRINE, because she is not warning people concerning the JUDGMENT TO COME!!!

Joyce Meyer is a part of the New World Order, no doubt about it. She has written 70 books, many on the New York Times Best-Seller list, because her books promote liberal, wishy-washy, mumbo-jumbo, teachings that avoid the Doctrine of Christ, eternal damnation, and other offensive Biblical truths.

Women are Not to Usurp Authority Over Men

Numerous women preachers have claimed that God told them in a vision to become a pastor. We know that is not true for at least 2 Biblical reasons:

  1. Hebrews 1:1-2 plainly tells us that God speaks to us today “BY HIS SON,” the Word of God (John 1:1-13,14; Revelation 19:13). God doesn't speak through dreams nor visions anymore.

  2. The Bible plainly forbids women from usurping authority over men (1st Timothy 2:12). The phrase “usurp authority over” is the Greek word “authenteo” and means to “act of oneself” (i.e., dominate). When Eve acted on her own, eating the fruit without first consulting with her husband, she got into trouble. Hence, women are not to take on the role of leadership over men. The heathen world promotes women over men, and look at the mess we're in today as a nation. When women take charge, wickedness flourishes in society.

God's Holy Spirit NEVER leads anyone contrary to the revealed will of God in the printed Word of God. This is our safeguard against heresies and false prophets who claim to have received private revelations from God. 2nd Peter 1:20, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” No one can claim special revelation from God. Everyone has the same Bible, and the same Commandments, and the same Word of God to live by.

Joyce Meyer's Mission is to Teach Unsaved People How to Enjoy Life

Joyce Meyer's website makes the following statement, saying that their mission is to teach non-Christians how to enjoy life without being born-again...

“We provide global humanitarian aid to hurting people and teach Christians and non-Christians alike how to enjoy everyday life by applying biblical principles in all they do.”

SOURCE: http://www.joycemeyer.org/AboutUs/VisionMission/

What a heretic! That is blatant heresy! There is no way for anyone to enjoy everyday life by applying Biblical principles as a Christ-rejecter!!! Meyer's mission is to teach Biblical principles to non-Christians, so they can enjoy everyday life? What is wrong with her?

I'll tell you, she is a false prophetess! I don't know of even one woman preacher who is not a complete heretic!!!

A true Gospel preacher, a man of God, teaches that God's wrath is upon all unbelievers, as John the Baptist warned in John 3:36! In sharp contrast to Joyce Meyer's apostate mission statement, Psalm 7:11 warns that God is angry with the wicked every day. 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9 teaches that God will take out His vengeance in flames of fire upon all Christ-rejecters, punishing them in Hell forever!

No Christ-rejecter can apply Scriptural principles to their life, to enjoy everyday life, while spitting on the Son of God.

God likens rebellion to witchcraft in 1st Samuel 15:23. Women who enter the pulpit are disobeying God, openly and shamelessly, which puts them in the same boat as demonic witches.

We are living in a rebellious generation, that does things their own way. The Bible says in the book of Judges that every man did that which was right in his own eyes. We're not talking about people who chose to do wrong here. They chose to do right the Bible says; but they chose for themselves what was right. These are sincere people who said, “I want to do right, but I will decide what's right.”

Only God has the authority to decide what is good or evil. Mankind does not have that right. God has given us a freewill to choose whether to do right or wrong; but only God decides what is right or wrong. It is sad that most people are choosing for themselves what is right or wrong. In so doing they are condemning themselves. God says that women belong at home, working as mothers and homemakers (1st Timothy 5:14-15). Women who usurp positions of authority over men are disobeying God horribly.

1st Timothy 2:12 commands women to be silent in the church and not to lead men.

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." —2nd Thessalonians 1:8
