Ladies and gentleman, that is what America's youth are listening to today. Eminem has sold over 50,000,000 albums worldwide!!! MTV said that Eminem is the 7th most popular Pop music idol of all time! If they dare call this garbage “music,” they need serious help! What Eminem spews out is not music; it's hateful rhetoric, demonic filth, and a passion for violence.
There is one thing that I admire about Marshall Mathers though, just going by his biography online; and that is that he remarried Kimberley Anne Scott again in 2006, after they were divorced in 2001. He married her twice. That is unheard of these days. Unfortunately, the marriage didn't work. I give Marshall and Kimberley credit for at least trying to work things out. That says a lot about them both; but it is clear to me that the glamorous wickedness of the rapper lifestyle, and all the horrible evils praised in Eminem's music, took it's toll.
I listen beyond Eminem's music and I hear the frustrations of an angry youth, which is why Eminem is so popular. He strikes at the heart of a messed up culture, an out of control criminal government, the demonic New World Order, greedy corporations, an unfair court system, rebellious feminism, and a host of other evils; but Eminem is trying to use evil to fight evil, and that is not God's way. You cannot render evil for evil, which is what most Rap music sings about today. 1st Thessalonians 5:15, “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.” Singing evil music to satisfy the frustrations of a generation of rebellious youth is the Devil's way. Anarchy is sin. The Bible permits rising up against evildoers in a spirit of liberty, freedom, and our American Bill of Rights; but this is far from anarchy that “despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities” (Jude 1:8).
