America's One Day A Week God

To the average American, God only matters one day a week on Sunday. The same
churchgoer who praises God on Sunday at church is cursing in God's name on
Monday at work. The same man who plays the clarinet on Sunday in church
plays his saxophone Friday night in a blues club. The same woman who sings
praises to God on Sunday in church disobeys her husband throughout the week
at home. These things ought not to be. God wants us to walk-the-walk as much
as we talk-the-talk.
God expects us to serve Him 7-days a week, 365-days a year. There's no such thing as a part-time Christian. There are carnal believers and backslidden believers; but there are no one-day-a-week Christians. Please understand that the term “Christian” was first given to believers at Antioch, Syria, by the unsaved (Acts 11:26). Those believers exemplified Christ in their lives and were labeled as “Christians.” When people see your life during the week, do they see Jesus Christ? Do you dress ladies in such a manner that people say, “She must love God because she is wearing a dress that is very modest.” If you women wear low-cut blouses, miniskirts and tight clothing, you are not honoring God with your life. You are shaming the name of Christ if you claim to be a Christian. Immodest clothing on a woman is heathendom.
Do you men curse in God's name at work, identifying yourself with the heathen world? Do you look at the dirty-magazines filled with pornographic smut that your co-workers look at? You shouldn't. It is sinful. Pornography is a horrible sin. It is sad that any woman would allow herself to be pictured completely naked for money. That money will be gone soon enough, but those photos will pass onto future generations, even though you grow old and are buried into the earth. While you are in eternity, you will reap what you have sown here on earth. You will be held accountable by God.
Apart from Sunday, the average churchgoer lives like the Devil the remainder of the week. No Christian should ever go to Walt Disney, a wicked company that promotes homosexuality, immorality and all forms of ungodliness. Christians ought not watch R-rated movies, which contain sexually explicit scenes, curse in God's name repeatedly and dishonor God in so many ways. I wish America could go back to the good old days before TV was invented. When I was growing up in the 1970's, there were no credit cards or microwaves. Even then, life was simpler than it is today. Although I thank God for the modern advances in medicine, modern technology is far more of a curse than a blessing. It is a shame that people are downloading pornography to their cellphones while riding on a bus or taking their lunch break at work. It's akin to the wicked times before the flood of Noah's day, when every imagination of men's hearts were evil. There is so much evil today. Everything in American society has been sexualized to make a buck.
God said in Revelation 3:15-16, "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." God wants us hot or cold. James 4:4, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." You cannot assist the sinful world and still be God's friend. If you work in a tavern, you are not God's friend. If you work in an abortion clinic, you are not God's friend. If you are passive towards homosexuality, you are not God's friend. If you support the Catholic Church, you are not God's friend. If you women dress provocatively in public, you are not God's friend. If you divorce your spouse, you are not God's friend. If you knowingly work for a dishonest lawyer as a paralegal, you are not God's friend.
In fact, you are God's enemy the Bible says. If you financially take advantage of people's ignorance or misfortune, you are God's enemy. If you dishonor your parents, you are God's enemy. If you reject Jesus as the Christ, you are God's enemy. Yet, many of these people go to church on Sunday and think everything is alright between them and God, when in reality, they are in serious trouble and are in utter denial. If you are a friend of this sinful world, partaking of it's sinful-pleasures, then you are the enemy of God. God said He wants us hot or cold, in or out, on or off. Either we mean business for God or we don't. Either we are concerned about lost souls and are soulwinners, or else we are simply religious and living selfishly for ourselves. Most people nowadays have churchianity without Christianity. They are playing a religious game.
It won't matter in eternity which church you went to, nor how much money you gave to charity, nor how nice you were to people. All that will matter then is if you died in the Lord, with your sins forgiven, washed away by the precious blood of Jesus Christ; or if you died in your sins without Christ. Hopefully you will die in the Lord (Revelation 14:13).
Revelation 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”
