Matthew 6:34, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
The Bible teaches that we ought to live in the PRESENT. This is exactly what
Jesus said in Matthew 6:34. Jesus told us not to worry over the future, because
we've got enough to handle day-by-day dealing with life. And besides, tomorrow
is not guaranteed here on earth. We can only live life the way God gives it...
ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Many people live in the PAST, with all it's pains and sorrows. It is not fair to one's self to dwell in the past, simply because it cannot be altered. What's in the past is in the past. Whether it be bitterness, anger and regret; or happy memories, better days, and good times of youth, the hands of time cannot be reversed my friend.
Life is so short. The key to each day is to realize that it may be our last. We could wake up tomorrow with Leukemia or cancer. It's sad when I see all the fussing and scuttlebutt amongst believers in churches and on the internet. It's our differences that cause conflicts in life. To live above with those we love, now that will be glory; but to live below with people I know, now brother that's a different story. Love is the eraser for human ills. Where love is thin, other people's faults are thick; where love is think, other people's faults are thin. Pray for God to give you love toward OTHERS!
It's important that we don't worry as Christians. God has promised to guide and provide for us. Worrying is like a rocking-chair... it gives you something to do, but it gets you no where. Turn your care into prayer! Just live by faith in God and take everything one day at a time. END
